Mountain Chalet style hotel in lovely location

Location is great. Hotel obviously affected by the snow drought over the past few seasons as everything was bare minimum, and needs updating. Lovely fireplace, but never a fire lit while we were there. Breakfast offerings are minimal, and serving coffee out of a pump thermos while in Italy and in the mountains serving up lukewarm coffee was totally unsatisfactory. Housekeeping in room was good. Staff was very nice, but overworked trying to cover everything from front desk, to bar, to dining room. No help with heavy baggage upon arrival, and no lift. Dinners were satisfactory and served with a smile. Hopefully with some good snow seasons, things can improve.

Giovanni, Patty and Lucy were all wonderful hosts and the overall experience was exceptional in every way. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic Italian experience in a great hotel and in a beautiful location and would love to return myself.

Camere con arredamenti un po' datati, ma pulite. Personale molto disponibile, cene molto buone. L'unica pecca, dovuta al covid ma non specificata nel sito, il mancato utilizzo dell'idromassaggio e della sauna.

La nostra prima volta a Zoldo, hotel confortevole e comodissimo alla cabinovia. La nostra camera era un po' datata nell'arredamento ma in perfette condizioni, ordine e pulizia. Consuglierei alla proprietà solamente di allunfare l'orario della colazione fino alle ora 10:00. Una bella vacanza

Short break to Ski Civetta

If your looking to have a proper 'Italian' winter ski experience then Val di Zoldo and the Hotel Sporting fits the bill perfectly, we didn't here another British voice in the time we were there. The hotel is traditionally mountain in style with a lovely welcoming log fire in the lounge/bar in the evening. Breakfast buffet in the morning was excellent to set you up for the day. Rooms were a good size and the beds very comfortable with some amazing views from the balconies. Water was piping hot and plentiful. Lovely fluffy towels to. The ski base station was only a short easy 5 min walk away and the hotel has lockers there for a very reasonable 3 Euro a day so you don't even have to carry your kit back (or wobble home in ski boots). Hotel guests also enjoy a 10% discount on the hire of any equipment from the adjacent rental outlet. The hotel staff were very helpful with information on both the hotel and the area which very much helped us make the most of our limited time in the area.

My room has two balcony, beautiful mountain view. Stuff are friendly, borrowed me hiking trial books in English, very helpful and guide me to the highest mountain hiking trip. Hotel has spa with Turkey’s spa, sauna, hot tub. Stuff members are very nice, can setup private time for you. Hotel also offer dinner arrangements. There are 4 course meal with great Italian food and reasonable price. Very good location with easy walk to tourist office and stores. Bought very good jackets for outlet price. Overall great hotel, would recommend to anyone.

Hotel pulito ed economico

Hotel tipico, servizio cortese e gentile, camere molto pulite, posizione struttura perfetta vicino al centro ed ai campi di sci. Unico appunto: in gennaio i locali comuni (bar, salotto, ristorante) dovrebbero avere una temperatura più calda.
