"Reception staff were great. Comfortable space. Clean. Tried to get something to eat at the bar but we were ushered to the restaurant with had a set price menu that was more expensive than we wanted to pay. Went into town and found a great pizza that was cheap."

"Amazing hotel/ restaurant! The people that run the hotel are lovely and very welcoming. Rooms are nice, clean, and have wonderful little balconies to admire the gorgeous French Basque countryside. I would stay here again no questions asked. "

"This place is a Basque gem! We loved it. Andoni’s craftsmanship is evident everywhere you look and these beautiful touches create a stunning finish and a very cosy experience. My biggest fear staying in December was the cold- but when we arrived Andoni had already lit the pot belly stove and the whole house was toasty warm. Our clothes dried easily too. The house was perfect for our family of five. The location was excellent for exploring the Basque Country. My husband and I walked to Sare each morning for coffee (40 mins). The view from the house was lovely. "
"Beyond Exceptional! Exquisitely clean, incredibly inexpensive beer prices, super friendly owner, staff, and local patrons. Big room with windows that opened up to the meadow. Food was great!! A must stop from on while on the Camino or in the area. Only recommendation, larger trash can in room :) "
Traditional Basque house with a pool and a summer kitchen
8/10 Good
"The house is absolutely wonderful.Obviously the pool is the biggest attraction but the extra outdoor kitchen and dining area were lovely to have.As we came by motorcycle, having a huge garage was very beneficial. The house contained almost everything you would need and was very clean. We did not receive any check-in instructions. We arrived at the house and found the door unlocked with keys and some house rules inside. What we didn't realise was that bed linen was not included in the rental. Admittedly, it is not mentioned in the list of amenities but I can't recall ever staying anywhere that charged extra for linen. They offered to provide it but at a cost of 90 for four people for three days. It was cheaper to buy some at the local supermarket. It would have been helpful to know this beforehand.Overall, a lovely place and recommended."
"Had a fantastic stay here! An absolutely beautiful and spacious property located just a short walk from the village and a half hour drive from the coast. We spent time in San Sebastián as well as other nearby towns and villages, went for some stunning walks, and ate some great food. The host (Beki) was exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout the entire stay. Would 100% recommend!"
"Extraordinary boutique hotel. We had a delightful stay. The owners show you to your room, are there every day, and offer good sight-seeing and restaurant advice. The room, like all the decor, is lovely, the beds are comfy, and the table on the balcony is great for coffee. There is a coffee maker, minifridge and an individual air conditioning unit that makes any heat wave bearable. There is ample closet space and the bathroom modern with attractive lighting. If you want to eat in, there is a communal microwave and one-pot meals available to heat up. The wi fi works great. It is a pet-friendly place: several dogs were there, including those of the owners. The only possible minus is that there is no elevator and the stairs are a bit steep. Excellent value."
