It is a remarkably friendly place to stay either for work or as a holidays.

We had a fantastic time. Albergo Moderno is quite off the beaten path, somehow we had misestimated where it was in relation to our target (it was listed as a Lake Como area property ....), but all the same a lovely experience. This is a traditional European style pensione where the proprietor prepares the meals, manages the bookings, etc. Located at the summit in Valle Imagna, the view (and drive) was breathtaking, the air lovely and the experience fantastic.

The location is a quiet cul-de-sac. The rooms were spacious and well cleaned with a somewhat decent view. Breakfast was plentiful with adequate variety. Dinner was limited at this time due to COVID restrictions but fine for me. The staf was helpful and friendly. you could tell this was a family establishment.

We booked a balcony room overlooking the Lake and WOW! We had the most romantic and unforgettable stay. The staff is so kind and generous, we will definitely stay again next time we’re in the Como area.

Great little hotel, restaurant was fantastic as was the gelato shop on the 1st floor. Right by the river and was very comfortable.

Is simply amazing, very Italian style. Breakfast was like being at my grandmas house. I love it and I highly recommend it

This has been characterized as a highway hotel and it may so but it's definitely much more than that. Rooms are ample and very comfortable, and clean. Hotel staff is always ready to help. Located next to a highway it allows for easy access to Como, Lecco, Milan or any other place in Lombardy. You do need a car though, but there's a train station a 20-minute walk away. The hotel was pretty nice and located near restaurants and a grocery store. I wish there was an in room kettle for tea and the tv didn’t work to connect to Netflix. But other than that, the staff was super nice and the room itself was nice.

Great stay. Staff graciously checked us in early, everything perfect. Outstanding location near water and down town eating and shopping !!
