Ostello del Castello Tirano
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (125)
"This review is long overdue. We traveled from America to Italy a few months ago and had planned to take the Bernina Express from Tirano. Our group of 7 was delayed getting to the hostel. Throughout that time, Andrea communicated with me and was very patient. We arrived past 10 pm, but Andrea waited for our group to arrive and was so accommodating. The next morning we had our train at 8am, so he got up early and had transportation waiting to take us all down to the train station so that we did...

Il Seicento - Hostel
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (27)
"This is a lovely place, with great staff who seem keen to make the experience as nice as possible. We got really helpful advice from the staff about places to visit and eat in the area. We were in an apartment that was spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. We really can't fault anything about the place. I hope we have the opportunity to come again."

"I miss ths place. I liked privacy and feel that we were only inhabitants despite there were other groups.European type kitchen in apartment . I like the feeling that everything in the building was secure and strong. We had best breathtaking views ever possible over Bormio town down in the basin which is surrounded by 10.000 feet multiple snowy peaks. This residence is 1000 feet above Bormio so be prepared to drive switchbacks on a quite narrow lane in a traffic sometimes .Grocery store is few...

"I was led to believe there was one twin and two single beds. The 'single' beds were for small children. There were two of us (adults) so we left and had to book a room in town. We deserve a refund."
