"Staying here was an amazing experience and everything we needed for a quick trip to Ellensboro and Shelby area. Karen was amazing in meeting with and us when we arrived and also showing us around the property/facilities. We were not traveling with horses but would definitely consider returning with horses in the future. Thank you Karen for an amazing experience and very clean and comfortable place to sleep!"

"Small details make for the best stay! From plenty of towels (bath and hot tub) to two luggage racks for each room along with new pots, pans, etc - this house made us feel like we were at home. The property manager responded quickly about the few items we needed help with (hot tub temp, garage bags, etc.) Plus provided suggestions of things to do in NC in the springtime. Our family had wonderful nights at fire pit and hot tub overlooking the valley. Would highly recommend!"

"Bob and Gayle were so helpful and available to us,the property is better in person, than in any picture you can see or read about. The privacy and beauty of this cabin is great. Activities to go to are within 20 to 40 minutes from the cabin. The spring fed pond was a great part of the property my dog and I swimmed every inch of it. The fruit trees and wooded area were an incredible add on to this property, my wife and I will definitely come back God willing. Thank you Bob"

"This property is a gem! The house is beautiful and spacious, well supplied with the necessities, and in a wonderful location. The lake access is down a hill so a little challenging for the older members of our group, but the lake is lovely and the private dock is SPECTACULAR. "This house was a perfect pick! Our first time staying at Lake Norman. The grounds are lovely with lots of trees for shade but also just enough sun. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and using the kayaks to explore the area. Location is very convenient as Publix is five minutes away as are other great places to eat. House was clean. Emily the host was very responsive and answered all of my many questions. The deck is huge and where we spent much of our time. Overall we had a wonderful stay."
