The mix of classic and modern items of furniture worked well. There was plenty of space for two adults and excellent supply of appliances. The spiral staircase was a little creaky on walking up and down.

The owner is not on site, so all of our communication was done over the phone. She was very responsive though. The pros are that this place is very well designed and in a great location (super close to the beach and away from tourists!). The owner also left a nice book of recommendations on great places to ear nearby. The cons are that my specific unit smelled like mold (although it was spotless!) and the electricity/wifi/air con went out during my stay.

We LOVED our stay at Apartamentos Barracart in Valencia. It wasn't terribly far from the train station, about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and in an adorable part of town. We truly felt at home here and hope to be back soon!! Definitely would recommend Barracart! 5/5 stars!

The property was absolutely beautiful everywhere you look! The location is in a quiet part of Valencia, but still close to the city. The rooms couldn't be cleaner and there is so much character in the building! The owner carefully chose every aspect of decorating the rooms and you can feel her love for her business and the city of Valencia! We would definitely stay here all over again!

Beautifully renovated apartment with lots of space. Balcony onto open inner courtyard for a relaxing evening was an ideal way to end the day. Hostess extremely helpful, has great knowledge of the restaurants and sights to see.

This apartment is stunning. Very modern with no expense spared. Clean and very spacious. Amenities are supplied- tea, sugar, salt, pepper and olive oil. This is a nice touch made cooking costs lighter. The owner couldn't do enough for us. She told us places to go, eat and drink. She advised the best transport and was just so helpful. Very friendly just what you need when you're new to a City. It is situated right near the beach and some local bars and cafes. The location seems far out from the old town but taxis are very cheap around 10 euros and easy to catch, along with the trams and buses, very cost effective. We definitely recommend this apartment to anyone. Thank you only and we only wish we had longer than 2 days with you.

Great place in a great location with great service
This place is wonderful! Olga, the manager, is very helpful and thoughtful. I am very glad I picked this place for my stay in Valencia: it has a very local feel with a 5 minute walk to the beach. Will definitely recommend it to everyone.

Cosy, great style, and an amazing host
Olga was lovely, super helpful with the area and, really, anything we had questions on. The location is very interesting, currently undergoing heavy changes which is interesting to see. Close to the beach, which is handy, and great restaurants and bars nearby also. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely perfect
We spent a week in this lovely apartment and had a fantastic holiday. Olga has devoted a lot of time and effort into making this place so comfortable and a delightful place to stay. It is situated in a really interesting part of Valencia..within easy walking distance of the port. There is a great bus service direct to the old Valencia city. Olga had lots of advice and recommendations to share with us...which we found helpful and took up her suggestions..and weren't disappointed. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope we may return some day

Olga is very friendly and helpful. The apartment has been remodeled keeping its rich history in mind. It is very clean. We had the best paella based on her recommendation. She helped us find the office to get football tickets and is very knowledgeable and personable. Very close to the beach and bus/ tram easily allows to get to the city center. Also very safe area, and Valencia is a lovely place to visit! Thanks Olga for everything!

Great place to spend a holiday in Valencia
We spend a fantastic week at the Barracat apartments. Perfect if you do not wish to eat out all days, the kitchen has all kind of detail that allow you to enjoy your stay without any restriction. The people at the hotel are very welcoming and respond to any request at not time, really nice people! The location is perfect, you are just 10 minutes walking to the beach and you have all kind of amenities nearby.
