Perfect Location

The best location and the staff are wonderful as well as the owners. Provided us with a really good map and indicated to us what to see and even recommended a really good jewelry store , where my wife purchased some very nice antique earrings. Room was just beautiful , clean, quiet and comfy bed, nice hot shower with plenty of water, what more do you want. Parking is in the street if you want free, don't let that scare you off , may have to walk a bit, but the location was the best. Would return again.

Did not like that it was closed and locked up with nobody there when we arrived in the afternoon. Siesta time? We had to walk around the neighborhood with our luggage for over an hour.

Ducha con agua fria

No es un hotel, sino un conjunto de apartamentos, por tanto carece de los estándares de servicio de un hotel, por ejemplo, no hay recepción propiamente dicha y solo hay una persona allí en horario reducido. El problema vino porque no tuvimos agua caliente para la ducha temprano, no había nadie en recepción, llamamos al teléfono de emergencias y nadie lo atendió, enviamos un mensaje por la web y nos duchamos con agua fría. A las dos horas cuando ya habíamos salido nos llamaron del hotel invitándonos a volver a la habitación para comprobar que el agua sí estaba caliente, lo que nos pareció insultante por dudar de nuestra palabra y fuera de lugar. En ningún momento hubo una disculpa por parte del hotel. Luego llamé a hoteles.com para presentar una queja y me ofrecieron un cupón de descuento. Siempre uso hoteles.com porque aunque el hotel tenga problemas, ellos siempre responden. El hotel está limpio, es bonito y muy bien situado. Aparte del problema con el agua caliente y el trato, mencionaría los colchones incómodos, normales en un apartamento de Airbnb, pero no con el estándar de colchones de un hotel. En resumen, es un alojamiento correcto, pero no es un hotel, es un apartamento y si tienes un problema no tendrás el nivel de servicio de un hotel y si te quejas del servicio se lo tomarán mal.

Alternative aux hôtels plus classiques du quartier

Séjour agréable dans cet immeuble de la vieille ville transformé en petit hôtel (5 étages, trois chambres par palier). Même si les chambres sont petites (idem pour les salles de bains), elles restent très fonctionnelles. C'est propre, bien tenu, relativement neuf, la literie est de qualité, et le Wi-Fi fonctionne parfaitement (idem pour la clim'). Petit bémol concernant l'insonorisation des chambres, de l'intérieur (on entend nos voisins passer dans le couloir). Présence d'un personnel d'accueil limité à quelques heures dans la journée (code pour accéder au bâtiment), pas de prestations hôtelières, en cette période de crise sanitaire, mais on trouve plusieurs cafés et restaurants dans le quartier. Bien situé (vieille ville, mais en dehors des lieux à rassemblements touristiques, accès direct au jardin du Turia), calme, mais un peu cher (rapport qualité/prix) en pleine saison estivale.

Lots to offer

We were arriving by car, always a challenge in a strange city, but the staff were very helpful and we got into a public garage not far away. You need to be aware that there is no restaurant or even a real breakfast area - just an area where you can get free self-serve coffee etc and snacks from a vending machine any time, and sit at one of the many tables. That might not suit everybody, but it is an easy walk to restaurants, cafes, monuments etc. Also the reception is staffed only limited hours, but they go to great lengths to ensure that's not an inconvenience. The hotel itself is lovely: newly renovated, comfortable and stylish. Pity it was too cold to make use of the roof garden!

Accommodating Accommodation

We had 2 nights, a trip combining taking part in an event and also meeting up with some friends, so wanted somewhere that made getting to the event on the outskirts of the city easy, but was also "walkable" to meet up for a drink or meal without needing to use transport. The location was perfect for this, just off the main road alongside the Turia park ( but far enough in for there not to be any traffic noise). This seemed like a relatively new hotel, so was clean and well appointed. The welcome we received was second to none, friendly, helpful, and with a choice of rooms as it was a quiet weekend. The room as comfortable, clean, and well equipped ( fridge, kettle etc). Bonus discoveries were the free hot drinks machine on the first floor and the roof terrace, which was beautifully appointed. There was the opportunity to store bags after check out so we could extend our exploration of the city later into the day of departure. Free street parking was available about 10 minutes walk away across the park. The cathedral and central tourist areas likewise were within 10 minutes' walk.

There is a roof top terrace and free coffee. Room is clean and comfy, situated near to the park. However, when we can’t connect to the wifi. The staff gave an absolutely nonchalant reply - “there must be a problem with iPhones cos they have always recieved the same feedback” they were absolutely determined to blame it on my device until finally they did a wifi reset and I got connected immediately. One staff even said that she is using a iPhone too and after 2hrs I shd be able to log on. Like what?? I travelled all round the world and this is abt the lamest excuse I have heard. Work on that attitude of urs. Else I would suggest all iPhone users to stay awway from the hotel.

Fräscht och rent hotell, perfekt för den som klarar sig själv och inte behöver någon service på hotellet. Knappa tider för bemanningen men det gjorde inget alls för oss eftersom allt var välplanerat med incheckningen som vi fick göra själva. Riktigt smidigt!
