"We loved the place! The place is calm, silent and far from the rush. It has almost everything you need to relax and enjoy the nature. Hot tub was great. The only thing that caused a lot of troubles- dishwasher. It did not work properly. We had to stay near it and make sure we press it tight to work. We would definitely return."

"This was our second year staying at the Old Farmhouse. It was just as wonderful as last year! Property is well maintained, clean, and has everything that you need. Our family of six enjoyed helping with the farm chores, talking with Farmer Walton (such an interesting and kind man), roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, petting sweet Piper and Penelope, and generally just relaxing and being together. "Beautiful historic farmhouse but with modern appliances and great AC. We came with 2 young children. Quick responses from owners with any questions. Amazing porch. Great experience. Highly recommend this house!"

"Very nice cabin in a quiet wooded area. Went with a dog and they had a very large dog lot right in front of the cabins. Nice quaint bar across the street, and a nice park down the street with river access. Quiet, laid back weekend. "

Great and trendy place to stay in Boone

"Great place to stay! Very hip. Love the bar, games, and pool table. Room was comfortable, however if you stay on the lower front side be aware that noise from the fire pit out front filters into the room. Even with the sound machine on could still hear the larger group carrying on late at night. Around 1 AM, I did call the front desk and they were kind enough to quiet the group. Other than the noise, the stay was great! Will definitely return, but will stay either higher up or on the back side. "
