"This is a nice apartment in a block of apartments that share a small pool. Other residents were friendly and the apartment is in walking distance of a couple of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Colombres is in a beautiful location with an interesting history and access to the mountains and beaches of Asturias. "Where do I start? First, the positives which were very few. Very warm welcome by a lovely lady, nicely decorated rooms, lovely big bed, good shower. On the negative side, very difficult to find and had to park in an unsecured public car park half a mile away with narrow cobbled streets to negotiate. Breakfast served in room and left the night before was virtually inedible - stale bread and cakes, tea but no kettle, fruit way past its sell by date including black bananas. No air con and very hot...
