"Clean room great location. A little away from Barcelona main city. 10 minute walk to the nearest train station. Grocery shop around the corner also a burger king. For me only problem is the language barrier. Some of the staff was arrogant when the spoke. Sorry just my take of wat I experienced in the hotel. Won't be staying here again."

"Our 6th time here. Excellent stop off en route from the UK to the south east coast of Spain with our dog. Ample parking, helpful staff, lovely food, fab pool and gorgeous spacious spotlessly clean rooms."

Hotel Atenea Port Barcelona Mataro

"We stayed here while attending the Catalunya MotoGP and it was a great base, only around a 30-minute drive to the circuit. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had a much more relaxed atmosphere compared to the busy tourist areas. We used the Nuus restaurant most evenings and also spent time at the outside bar, both of which were really enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and service was always good. This is not a major tourist hotspot, so don’t expect the same type of nightlife, entertainment or busy beach atmosphere you’d get in the larger resort towns — but that was actually part of the appeal for us. It felt more authentic, quieter and far less crowded. We didn’t use the pool area but it did look was nice & relaxing! There were cafe restaurants and places to walk around nearby. Overall, a really good option if you want somewhere calmer to stay while visiting the Catalunya circuit or exploring the area."

"Good place to stay. Restaurants and groceries shops close by. Great staff, really good communicating. Location wise, it is a bit far from Barcellona's main attractions but in my opinion wirks fine if you planned in advance."

"Hotel Horitzo is one of the best properties in Costa Brava, right next to the Beach with beautiful views. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast was outstanding. I stayed in a sea facing double room, the amenities were very good in my room. My stay at this hotel was a test case for this hotel since have a wedding coming up in June and I was looking for a really good hotel for 30 of my guests. We have booked all the rooms at the main wedding hotel (Santa Marta) and we needed additional rooms for our guests. My experience staying at this hotel was excellent. I have booked 16 additional rooms for June at this hotel for my guests. Hello Joseph, Your staff was super sweet when I stayed at the hotel. But there is one problem, after I came back to US, I am trying to talk to the Reception at the hotel, there is only one number listed. It is almost impossible to connect by phone to your Reception. As I have very important guests staying for 3 nights at your hotel, it is important that I talk to someone at the hotel to make sure everything goes smooth during their stay and I may need additional rooms. I will appreciate if you can make sure the experience 30 of my guests who will stay at your hotel is outstanding. If someone can call me on my phone or email me (since I am unable to get through to your hotel), that will be appreciated. You can please send me an email (your hotel has my contact information).
