"We stayed here for one night on our way to the Normandy beaches. The Chateau and grounds are stunning however there was no atmosphere and the staff were not very welcoming on arrival or helpful. The breakfast was at best mediocre and it was almost as if you weren’t allowed to talk or make any kind of noise in the breakfast room/restaurant."

"A great stop-off on my trip from the UK to Portugal. Just what I needed - convenient and quiet. Staff were excellent and the continental breakfast was great. Small room with a 'pod' for the shower and toilet in the corner - but all clean and just perfect for my needs. Large shopping centre with all the usual fast food outlets 20mins walk away."

"Lovely quirky hotel! We had a nice room with table and chairs so, whilst no food was on offer, we were able to go to the nearby supermarket for supplies, and have a little picnic in the room after a long journey. The bed was comfortable and, despite our initial concerns, there was no noise from the nearby busy roads. The hotel provided an excellent breakfast included in the price. A great stay and excellent value for money!"

"Our last stopover of our holiday before getting the ferry from Calais. The area was very busy. A lot of shops, restaurants and a hyper market, handy if you need to fill up for your onward journey. Check in was easy by a very pleasant man. I had to pay for our dog, €5 per night. He changed our room to a larger one as we had the dog. Normally down graded !!! The room was comfortable, especially when we got the heating on. The bed was huge bigger than a king size and comfy. Bathroom was adequate. Huge shower cubicle, sink and toilet. Breakfast was ok you could have as much or little of what was on offer. All in all it served a purpose for 3 travellers and if needed to would return. "
