"The hotel is big and beautiful. Sometimes they take too long at reception but theyre helpful and polite. They have a scale to weigh luggage which was much needed. I loved the design of the room but the layout was horrible. I LOVE all things light and bright but almost in the center of the room was a big, wonderful mirror with a ring light, right above the sink, blocking all the natural light. At night there is a sitting area right before the bed that is very dark because they only have small lamps on the nightstand. No lights on that side, not in the ceiling, not on the wall. The lighting in the corridor is blocked by the mirror, so barely any light reaches the bed. I dont like that. Other than that housekeeping was good, the location was nearby many travel options (bus, tram, train), a mall is not too far, and Lidl is also close by. We had everything we needed. We didnt get to do pool or spa. At checkout I was charged for taxes per person, per night, but they charged a huge, incorrect fee that is pending being refunded. I recommend and will stay again, hopefully in a room with better lighting."

"We stayed at Hotel 1898 twenty years ago! Had to come back and it was as wonderful as we remembered! Great location, friendly staff, great food and wine and beautiful rooftop deck with excellent live music."

"Muy limpio, el servicio estuvo bastante razonable, lo único es la falta de empleados a la hora del check in y la ayuda de subir el equipaje. No tienen buena coordinación estructurada a la hora de recibir muchos huéspedes a la misma vez. Nosotros llegamos un día que llegaban muchos cruceros y muchos huéspedes veníamos de crucero y estaban muy desorganizado a la hora de recibirnos todos a la misma vez. Pero por todo lo de más muy buen hotel, excelente limpieza y el aire acondicionado uno de los mejores que tuve durante mi estadía por Europa."
