The makeover and additions to a centuries old stone country farm house are magnificent but not pretentious (describes the ambiance of our stay). If by train taxies a more miss than hit...the proprietors generously pick us up and returned us to the Gare' 25 minutes away (and should charge at least 30 euros for the round trip). A setting Forrest and reflection."

"We stayed in this property in August 2022 with family and friends, four of whom were teenagers. From the moment we arrived the host Denis was excellent, with a warm welcome to his property. The house was incredibly well appointed with attention to detail on all aspects of decor of both the interior and exterior. We enjoyed days by the pool and also walks to the village bakery in the morning in Pont L'Aven and evening meals at the Stalagmites restaurant. We enjoyed days away at kayaking,...

"We stayed two nights but wished we could have stayed a few more. The host and hostess were very helpful and hospitable. The room was delightful: spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, and the best rain shower I have ever experienced. Our room came with its own terrace. My favourite part of the day was sitting on the terrace by the pool to watch the sky change colour as the sun set and to listen to the frogs and birds. This place is perfection. "

We arrived a little early by bike (before check-in time), and they were very welcoming and brought us refreshments while we enjoyed the lovely patio and pool area. The property was quiet, peaceful and so beautiful--an oasis! They stored our bikes in a locked area and made that very easy for us. One of us needs to eat gluten-free and they provided appropriate breakfast options. I would absolutely stay...
