This hotel is located close to the port and a train station - spotted cruise, container ships and navy vessels. Walkable to restaurants, malls & tourist spots. Convenient for taking train journeys to Vina del Mar & other tourist attractions.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel good location for exploring the town. The first hotel I've ever been to though that didn't have a 'do not disturb' sign for your door so if for whatever reason you have a late night and want to sleep in housekeeping are coming in regardless to wake you.

Amenities in the rooms were so so. We knew the area is in the center with not the best neighborhood but had excellent views of the fireworks for New Year which is she we booked it. Close to the cerro neighborhoods which allowed us to walk around and close to the train station which took us to Viña del mar

Not worth the money

Overall very basic for the priced paid. Location was good to view the fireworks on new years, but the prime to go with stay for New Year’s Eve was not worth it. Beds were too soft. Only two towels and a floor math in the bedroom. Only a tv, safe and one chair. Very, very basic. Also, food selection small only pizza and h and cheese sandwiches to select from for dinner. If omit staying for a day the this hotel is close to the safe tourist area… otherwise, spend the money and stay at Viña de Mer… because there is nothing to see on Valparaiso

Sadly enough, I think this is one of the nicer properties in town. Our room was beyond sparse, with limited end tables, bathroom amenities, and the like. Upon entering the room, the 2nd bed was already rumpled and had a black shoe print in the comforter. Additionally, on the bed table next to it, there was a half eaten pack of fruit snacks. The bathroom had 2 total towels, no hand towels, lotion, or anything of the sort. The shower had zero shelving to put anything like a razor, shampoo etc. The TV had one English speaking channel, the BBC:I know that we are in Chile; however, this is a popular hotel for tourists getting on or off a cruise. Lastly, the area surrounding the facility is very depressed. It is ideal for the purposes of the cruise, however. The staff was nice enough and accommodated everything we asked for, which was fairly minimal. I think 3 stars, overall, is generous, so travelers be advised.

I liked our room with the view of the harbor. It could have been cleaner. Our room had toilet paper, liquid soap, and two towels. There were no cups, glasses, tissues, hand towels, washcloths, shampoo, or lotion. No USB ports. Talk about sparse! Good thing it was only one night and inexpensive.
