"We have had a wonderul holiday in the Ardeche, staying at this grand gite in Joyeuse. We are a family of 3 with a teenage daughter so it was an ideal property for us with lots of space, including 2 en suite rooms and a further bathroom, well equipped kitchen and 2 terraces all to oursleves. It is a beautifully restored residence which is very well equipped, very clean and an ideal location in a very quaint part of Joyuese and really central for touring around the Ardeche. "We stayed here during the heatwave that was crossing Europe. A little worried about this, in fact there was no need. The pool was perfect and no problem with it not being heated. The villa was wonderfully airy and you could get a great breeze running through it. We had a problem with a door at one point but our hosts got someone in to fix it immediately. You are 5 minutes from the local intermarche so getting provisions was dead easy. Was a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend"

"House was terrible to find. Map the host sent us was unreadable. If we had typed in 'caravan lagorce' in our GPS we shoupdn't have had any problem. But that was our only bad remark: everything else was great."
