"Such a lovely place to stay with a courtyard for off-road parking. The Italian owner helpfully spoke good English. He said he also spoke other languages as well. It is right on the edge of the lake and the front rooms have a view over the lake and the back rooms have a delightful view of the mountainside and over look a courtyard with typical Italian buildings. "We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. "We used this B&B to spend the day near the lake. There are so many great places nearby. One day was not enough to visit them all. The host will list nearly lovely places to spend the day. Breakfast is included. Some bread, milk, fruit, juice, and local pastries are perfect for a quick start, and let us continue our journey. There is a coffee machine with nice Italian coffee capsules. There is internet and a TV with cable, which you can also use with your Netflix account. We had a great time....

"Giuseppe and his little bed and breakfast was a breath of fresh air! I recommend staying in a little town near the “main 3” Lake Como cities. Lierna was a perfect place to stay. "We have stayed at this hotel for many years. It has one of the, if not the best view of Lago di Como of all hotels. I never get tired of sitting on their terrace, soaking in the scenic lake beauty with Alps in the background, with a glass of delicious Italian wine in your hand. The hotel is currently being updated, but all of the rooms are charming and comfortable. They have a very good restaurant on site where they serve the morning breakfast. The hotel staff go out of their way to make you happy. "
