Hotel Ambassador Zermatt

"The hotel was a very short walk to the train station. Each room had a balcony, and ours had a view of the Matterhorn. The floor of the shower had a crack, was apparently leaking, and causing dry rot at the base of the door frame of the bathroom (we reported this to the front desk.) The breakfast was ample, attractively displayed, and tasty. Each room had a small safe for storing valuables when away from the room."

"Nicko was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make my partner and me feel welcomed and cared for. His kindness and attentiveness truly made our stay extra special and exceeded our expectations. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, but Nicko was truly exceptional and deserves special recognition. The hotel itself is gorgeous and exceptional—beautiful, comfortable, and everything we could have hoped for during our stay in Switzerland. We had such a wonderful experience and will definitely book this same hotel again on our next vacation to Switzerland. Highly recommended!"

"Perfect location, wonderful staff with great recommendations. Very clean great continental breakfast. Their small grassy Biergarten offers great views of Matterhorn…open your window at night and go to sleep from the babbling brook that traverses the center of Zermatt."

"Central hotel near the train station and right on Main Street. Lots of choices for restaurants / bars nearby. Perfect location. The hotel is beautiful with a lot of art displayed throughout. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful. Easy check in / out and they helped with dinner reservation. Recommended."

"Excellent staff and wonderful check in as they also provided us with some places to visit around the village along with coupons to the restaurant at the hotel. We were also allowed to store our luggage in their locked room. This was our favourite stay in Switzerland and we will definitely want to come back. The views, the vibes, and the coziness were the highlight for us. We didn’t want to leave. Incredibly clean, very spacious rooms, and a large renovated bathroom."
