"Check-in took some time as there was an elderly couple in charge that seemed more interested in watching TV. The rooms were OK and you could get a beer of coffee at the bar, but that was it. Restaurant not open for evening meal or breakfast. I think we were the only guests, so the place was very quiet. Luckily the local town had many facilities that we used for eating & socialising. "A slightly odd place. It’s not like a standard hotel. Each “room” consists of a garage with a typical hotel room above it, you drive round and into your private garage, close the electric door and go up a private stairs to a small landing outside your room, there is a door into the overall building but this is for staff only. Guests always come and go via their garage. The hotel doesn’t provide any food or drink options but within a few minutes walk is a 24/7 motorway service station with a very...
