"We spent 3 weeks here in 2023 at the end of September through mid-October and had the best time.The yard and pool are worth everything! The house is well located if you want to hit the road, as we often did, but tricky to find initially (save Esso Costa Saracena in your GPS). Great sandwich shop just down the road and main grocery store 10 min away. Both the owner and the property managers were accessible on WhatsApp and always very helpful, but you'll need your translator app if you don't speak...

"Excellent stay in this great country house surrounded by citrus trees. The house has two large bedrooms, a comfortable bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen / dining area. Views from the large terrace on Mt Etna and on the sea from the front side are priceless. A car is indispensable. Easy to reach by country roads not far from Messina / Catania autostrada. Mario and Angela are wonderful hosts."

"Die Fewo ist stilvoll eingerichtet, es gibt einen tollen Sitzplatz auf der überdachten Terrasse (auch bei Regen sehr schön) - die Nachteile sind: eine unfallgefährliche Wendeltreppe in den Keller (hier fehlt ein Geländer, man kann einfach runterfallen), die Straße ist klein aber der Verkehr teilweise sehr laut, für eine große Gruppe ist die Fewo nach meiner Meinung nicht gut eingerichtet, man konnte nicht richtig spülen, entsprechend war das Geschirr."

"A spacious and well appointed apartment within the Villa. The views from the terrace are spectacular and overlook the Giardini Naxos bay all the way to the Cape of Taormina. From the terrace of the main bedroom there is also a wonderful view of Mt Etna in all her glory. The apartment itself is well equipped and has pretty much everything you need (fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, towels, hairdryer, bbq crockery Ian’s cutlery) and there wasn’t anything that we needed to ask...

"We had a lovely 10 days in your clean, spacious villa. Perfect for a family of two adults and two teenagers looking to relax and explore the beautiful island of Sicily. We loved the 4x4 tour of etna you organised for us and we explored the local towns and villages. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the food good and inexpensive. The Lido, just across the road was very welcoming and a great place to swim though the fantastic villa garden was also well used. Dinner on the roof terrace...

"We stayed at villa carlino in the “Esclusivo ” apartment for 3 nights . The grounds were beautiful, the bedrooms / bathrooms were comfortable and all was clean . Unfortunately it rained for 2 days while we were there and we couldn’t enjoy the pool . It would have been nice to have an indoor hang out area ( living room ) where all six of us could fit . The location is great for getting to Etna and Taormina ."

"We had a great week! Marinella and Angelo were great hosts and have made this a beautiful space for a family retreat. It was beautiful with the flowers in bloom and the pool was a huge plus for the kids. Close to the highway so you can get to Taormina and Etna quickly, even if the road from the highway to the house is a little loud sometimes. A very beautiful and unique house that makes a memorable trip."

"We enjoyed the stay. The property is on a quiet and private road. A beautiful pool and jacuzzi area outside. The kitchen, barbecue and living room area are great for making and enjoying meals. The host was very helpful and accommodating. The description of the property should say that one of the bathrooms is separate from the house with an outdoor shower by the pool."

"Casa D’aria is a quaint and lovely place for a vacation set in an ideal location in Catania. The eclectic style of the entire building is so interesting and homey. We had excellent communication with the owners leading up to our check in. The room was massive! With the comfiest bed tucked up on a loft. We made use of the full kitchenette and our room even had a washer to do our laundry. The rooftop communal terrace was a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the sounds of Catania....
