Comfort near the River

Very friendly, helpful owners who like their guests! Comfortable bed, great heating, good TV-streaming selection, defrosted mini-fridge (!), clean microwave, surprisingly well-supplied/equipped for an older property. Pristine swimming pool with deck chairs, safe parking, quiet, convenient right off the highway, close to Current River activities. Convenient espresso coffee shop onsite.

Room was clean and couldn’t hear anyone partying outside even tho they were.I liked it and would have done a straight 5 star on all except for there wasn’t a closet to hang clothes and the bed was too high. It was a good bed just too high for me and I’m 5’7”.

Van Buren Stay

One of the few inns in the area, this stop has become one that I frequent on business trips. The rooms are super comfortable, and the price is within my allowed traveling budget. Beds have well enough sheets to keep a soul from freezing in the night which is more than I can say for most of the other hotels I frequent with similar price ranges. Staff is very friendly. They don’t offer a breakfast, which isn’t really a big deal for me since my company will take care of that somewhere else, but something travelers should be aware of. Would recommend.

The property was older but clean and bed was comfortable. Couple of issues overshadowed an otherwise satisfactory stay. One was the toilet that took 5 minutes to fill back up with water in order to be able to flush The other major issue was there was no hot water in the morning. The desk clerk had no sense of urgency about the issue and said her son would have to take a look at it. By this time we had sponged bath and were ready to check out.

This is a pretty old motel. That being said, it was in decent shape. The room was clean and had what we needed. The bed was comfortable, the bedding and towels were clean and nice quality. We didn’t use the shower because we got up and headed home early. The water in the bathroom sink was barely a trickle even when both hot and cold water were tuned on all the way. There was a window air conditioner unit and also a space heater on the floor.

This motel is vintage and its so clean and updated and comfortable beds. The pool was nice it didn’t close as long as you did disturb guest. I have stayed several times in the past. Annual birthday's current river float trip.
