La Rochelle is a city worth visiting and is only a few kilometers away. By bike it was about 8 km. In the neighboring town of Châtelaillon-Plage there is a very large sandy beach. "Absolutely fantastic property with all the amenities you need. Beautiful pool and a garden which the sun doesn't leave until the evening. Very clean. Friendly conceiege and contact with the owner on booking was good. It's a walk into La Rochelle itself but we didn't mind that. Supermarket a short walk. We would definitely stay here again, we loved it."

"A good base from which to explore the area. The shops and beach were within walking distance and we enjoyed lots of walks with the dog along the beachfront. The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped and the outside space was secure and safe for our dog and cat. An enjoyable stay, thank you!"

"We stayed for one night at this property. Great location with free parking close by. A good base for exploring La Rochelle. Would stay again but mattress not very comfortable and first hotel I have ever stayed in where they ask you to take your rubbish out yourself. It served a purpose and the bottles of water and sweets were a nice touch. "

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
