"Booked a big bed was given a single bed so not the best nights sleep"

"Had a lovely stay. The only issue I had was that I needed to check in late and there was no one there after 9pm and I arrived at 11pm. Thankfully someone helped me in to the building where my keys were waiting for me to arrive. Food is excellent, staff is friendly, and the room was comfortable and a decent size for a European hotel. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk to the city centre. The walk itself is up some fairly steep stairs so may not be suitable for folks with mobility issues. The coffee machine is worth the stay! Excellent coffee at the push of a button. Would definitely recommend this place. "

"This was our first time here, but not our first in Trollhättan. The hotel is older, but very well kept. The staff (especially the owner, Ulrika, who works there) are really terrific and helpful. Our room had older, beautiful furniture. Common areas had nice touches like fresh flowers from Ulrika's mother's garden. Breakfast was terrific! The home-baked bread was delicious, and there was a very good variety of foods to choose from. The only difficulties were that the bath/shower was difficult to step into for an older person and the lovely streetscape from the year before is torn up in many places while the city's water supply pipes are being replaced (after 80 years service). Those repairs we are told should be done by summer 2025. Otherwise, a lovely and friendly stay."

"Very friendly. Amazing selection for breakfast. Served early when we had early starts (we were racing at Kinnekule) Rooms were rather warm unfortunately. Lounge on our landing with coffee and cakes was also a great bonus. "

"Lovely property for a nights stay. Clean and comfortable rooms. Checked in on a Sunday but communication was good prior to inform how to check in. Breakfast included and a good selection. Helpful and friendly checkin service. Free parking behind hotel. Would stay again. "

"First time in Sweden, this hotel was better then I expected. Rooms are great, very comfortable, sound proof rooms, staff is amazing and speaks English well and can help with everything, the breakfast is by far the best part OMG. The hotel is close to the central station which helps a lot, it’s in walking distance of grocery stores and many restaurants etc. by far a great place and I will be coming back very soon. ❤️"

"The bed was very soft. The mattress sloped on one side, making sleep difficult. I had to hang on with one arm to prevent my body from falling on the floor. Please fix this!!"
