"Wir hatten ein paar wunderschöne Tage in dieser voll ausgestatteten Villa. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Jeden Morgen wurde uns frisches Brot vorbei gebracht. Einziges kleines Manko: Im Haus ist nur ein Badezimmer, die zweite Dusche und Toilette ist am Pool. Leider waren die Temperaturen nicht mehr dafür geeignet, dass man outdoor hätte duschen können."

"Sehr schön eingerichtetes Häuschen mit schönem Garten. Sauber und gemütlich. Genau das Richtige um ein paar Tage zu entspannen. Da es etwas abseits liegt, sollte man sich vorher mit allem Nötigen eindecken. In Martinchel selbst gibt es ein kleines Café in dem man neben frischem Brot auch Obst und Gemüse bekommt. Mit dem Auto ist man in einer Stunde in Lissabon."

"Very impressive villa, amazing grounds and pool, the villa is very clean, large windows with tons of natural light. It’s very well equipped, beautiful linens and lots of room for groups. We stayed as a family of 9 and it was absolutely perfect. We all loved the morning breakfast & delivery of freshly baked goods!"

"MEIO country house is extremely well-maintained and outfitted. We were a group of 12 adults, with 6 new ones swapping places with the original guests after 1 week. Clean linens were supplied and a housekeeper cleaned the rooms beautifully. The location has easy access to the train at Santarem and only 1 hour drive to Lisbon. But seeing other areas requires travel on slow country roads which can add time. The owner, Isabel, offered and provided a lovely tour of Santarem, her home town. She and...
