"The gite looks over stunning views towards the Pyrenees . Hosts Josiane and Olivier have packed it with all the equipment you could wish for a self catering detente. It's 15mins drive west of Foix. Getting there for the last 800m its best to call from the Mairie at Serres sur Arget as the route is not numbered. Ideally placed to explore the attractions of Ariege and breathe pure mountain air."

"The hosts, Ian and Jayne, are very friendly and welcoming. Guests may sit in the nice garden in the shade or in the sun. There is a supermarket nearby in Belesta at a distance of a few kilometers. The gite is clean and located in a beautiful setting of nature. There plenty of well indicated walks around the village along the brooks and in the mountains. Montsegur is nearby."

"Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à les Peyrots et notamment la fraîcheur du gîte et sa proximité avec de multiples possibilités d'activités aquatiques ou de montagne. "Not only was our gîte (Corbières) cosy and charming, it was also equipped with everything you would need for a fantastic stay! The gardens and Grange were great additions, that provided further amenities and space for during the day and in the evening, with an additional fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and many places to sit and relax, alongside a dart board and table tennis. Tranquil and relaxing stay in a beautiful area
"We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to South West France. Alan and Barbara are perfect hosts - warm, welcoming and thoughful- nothing was too much trouble and they anticipated and met our every need. The house is spacious and well-equipped and pool and garden delighful. The setting is fabulous - peaceful and relaxing with georgous views over fields and woodland and the foothills of the Pyrenees Audoise. Just outside Chalabre, the location is great for exploring the upper Aude and Arriege area and there is good walking and some fine eating in the area. I'd recommend an early visit to the tourist office (Office Intercommunale) to pick up individual walks leaflets. Alan and Barbara have an excellent library of novels, history and French language, history and culture books, so save weight in your luggage. Our weather was varied- unseasonably cool and damp on some days, very warm and sunny on others, but there are places to visit and things to do whatever the weather. We'd thoroughly recommend it and may well return ourselves."
