"A nice quiet place, perfect for 2-3 people. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Everything needed incl. a shop is reachable within walking distance. Ystad and Trelleborg as well as Malmö and Falsterbo can be easily reached from here. Perfect for biking, but there is also regular buses going. A completely equipped kitchen and many options to sit outside. We can just recommend this place!"

"The cottage was super-warm and cosy, clean and stylishly decorated. The location is quite remote (about 15 minutes drive into Ystad) and there are no facilities on your doorstep. Bearing this in mind, it would have been lovely to find a pint of milk in the fridge for tea/coffee on arrival. Also, the kettle was broken - a minor issue as we used a saucepan to heat water, but I seem to remember a previous review mentioned this, so clearly the owner had forgotten to buy a new one. Ted was a great...

"Mladen & Janna were the perfect hosts! Delightful. Endearing. Funny. Accommodating. Willing to talk with us (American tourists) for much longer than we expected. We'll invite them to stay with us in the U.S. (Virginia) Food was great! Altogether a most unique & memorable stay. Plus, they're both actors & musicians...she sings...he plays the electric bass guitar. Highly recommend for those who (like us) never need a pricey 5-star (sterile) hotel. : )"

"We weee taking the ferry to Rostock and needed a place to stay the night before. If you are going on the morning Stena line ferry this hotel is beyond perfect. Not only is it in the same building as stena line terminal but it is exceptional in all regards. The dinner the night before was 5 stars! Plus breakfast and exceptional service from the staff. Room was great and spacious as well. If visiting southern Sweden this is a pure gem "
