We had a wonderful 2 weeks in this charming rustic gite. Beautiful surroundings with walking available on your doorstep. If I had to be negative about anything it would be the listing states 4 bathrooms. In fact it has 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets which is a stretch for 10 people. Also more hooks to hang towels. Axel was an excellent host very welcoming and helpful.

We had a great week at Axel's place! We stayed at La Ferme, one of 2 gîtes on the property of Axel's Domaine de La Cour which also features his amazing old castle that's been in the family for generations. La Ferme is a big place, kitchen (fully equipped but lacks a bit of storage space) & living room (with a big smart TV) fully separated, 4 beautiful bedrooms, a bathroom with bath and one (smaller one) with a shower. The place is beautifully renovated by Axel himself with lots of authentic elements kept in their original glory. La ferme has a separate garden with a hedge around it and featuring a jacuzzi. Plenty of space for the 5 children in our group to play! The garden area is closed off with a fence, and beyond that is the shared swimming pool which is impeccable and has beautiful views of the castle, nearby meadows with a flock of sheep, and the fishing lake a little further. Axel has a system of allotted timeslots to share the pool with the guests staying in l'Orangerie (the other gîte next to the castle, but we were free to ignore this system if both parties agreed. Surrounding the castle is a massive forest that is private property and has a unique wildness to it you won't find in most regular forests. Axel was a very attentive host. There was a theatre performance on the domain during our stay which we informed about in advance and got to attend for free. Highly recommended!

Wir haben mit 2 Familien (4 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder) eine wunderbare Woche verbracht. Das Gelände ist liebevoll gepflegt. Überall blühen Hortensien in einer Farbpalette von pink bis blau-lila. Der Blick auf das Schloß, das sich auf dem Grundstück befindet ist einzigartig. Ebenso die Aussicht vom beheizten Pool auf die niedliche Schafherde, die man beim Schwimmen beobachten kann. Die Ferme war sehr sauber, toll eingerichtet mit einer gemütlichen, gut ausgestatteten Küche. Direkt hinter dem Grundstück beginnt der Wald, in dem auch unsere Töchter oft Spazieren gegangen und gejoggt sind. Auch die Boule-Bahn und die Tischtennisplatte haben wir gut genutzt. Der Schloßherr Axel ist ausgesprochen sympathisch und hat sich vorbildlich um alle unsere Belange gekümmert.

Magnifique domaine en pleine nature, cadre très agréable. Nous avons passé un super week-end, pêche, piscine, pétanque.., grand gîte bien équipé. Hôte très gentil et accessible.

Bien dans l'ensemble : vaisselles, mobiliers, linges de lits, décorations comme dans les revues de campagne, grand parking, Seul bémol dans le descriptif il y avait quatre salles de bains et trois wc, là que deux ; même pour deux nuits un peu juste à dix; Mais à recommander tout de même car bon accueil de l'hôte.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille. Axel s'est toujours montré disponible et très sympathique et nous avons eu grand plaisir à discuter avec lui de la rénovation de sa magnifique propriété. Le logement est très confortable et décoré avec goût, parfaitement adapté à une famille avec enfants en bas-âge ou à un séjour entre amis, et la piscine chauffée un vrai bonheur. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si nous en avons l'opportunité !
