"This was a one night stay as we were away for a weekend and thought the town of Sluis was worth a visit, managed to check in early, as it should have been 3pm, room was ok, although had to leave as many windows open as we could, aircon didnt seem to be working, breakfast although continental was more than we had expected, had a drink from the bar the 1st night, bar staff were friendly and service was swift, thank you guys."

"Jeg ankom sent til hotelle, pga trafikkaos. Jeg ankom kl 20.15 og køkkenet var lukket, men på trods af det lavede kokken en fisketallerken med salat som var over the top god. Og morgenmaden blev serveret på bordet helt fantastisk kaffen var som i Italien . Fantastisk oplevelse jeg kommer igen "

"Fantastic!! This was our favourite hotel!! We were travelling for three weeks so stayed in many places but this one stood out from them all. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The decor was perfect. The host provided us with a map of the area and restaurants which was super helpful. "Great location, so 4 instead of 3 stars based on service. Annex in another house nearby. Room is OK. Nice bed. Breakfast buffet is included. Parking is discounted from 50 to 20 euro a day at a nearby parking lot. At check in I got received as if being an nuisance instead of a guest. I got ignored and when I rang the service bell, a Dutch lady almost cursed at me and walked off. Not the welcome you expect from a hotel like this. Hence barely any stars. The people at breakfast were much more welcoming. "
