Two surprises that caught us off guard…first, though there were two bathrooms advertised, but there was only one shower for four people. Second and more significant, there was no heat in the unit until mid October. The weather was in the upper 40s/low 50s at night, so the house was downright cold most of the time. "Wonderful apartment, very cute and quiet village. Very clean, comfortable, safe. Communication excellent. I recommend you have a rental car. I didn't and it is a 15-min/ 1km hike up from the very reliable and inexpensive ferry and train. It took me (not young and used to the US suburbs) a day to get acclimatized to this - it is an alpine village. The town of Lierna and this apartment are perfectly suited to day hikers. "

"When booking this hotel, we knew it wasn't in the city center or close to major sightseeing spots. However, upon arrival, we were still shocked by the location: it is situated in an industrial zone rather than a residential or commercial area. Aside from the poor location, everything else was fine, especially considering the affordable price we paid."
