"Our family (3 teens) stayed in 2 rooms in summer. Nice, quiet stay. Rooms are spacious, staff is friendly and we were centrally located for day trips to Nimes and other locations. The pool was very nice.
I wished there were mini-fridges in the rooms, as storing cold beverages would have been a welcome option during hot weather. "

Farmers gather at Velleron's famous evening market to sell just-picked produce and local specialties six days a week. Wander the village's narrow lanes past ancient stone houses before visiting the 12th-century church with its distinctive bell tower.
Hotel is a little hard to find, but has a (short and safe) pathway to the center of the small village. Staff is very friendly and helpful - 5-star service, including getting ice for us, even though it is strange for the French to use so much ice. Rooms are small, but so are 90%of the hotel rooms in France. Absolutely a wonderful area to spend two days in.

Hotel was at a beautiful location, by a river and surrounded by mountains. Evening walks around the small town were great. Hotel was very clean, and our room had a lot of space. I just wish it was a little closer to the sightseeing spots that we had picked.

Very nice little place with pool and restaurant that are wonderful. Rooms are comfy and just what was needed. My brother had an issue with his bed as the queen was actually two twin beds, that moved apart in the middle of the night. Property is very nice though wifi is very weak, so be prepared to disconnect.

Hotel 1770 & Spa served as our home base during the week we spent visiting Avignon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Pont du Gard, Arles, and Nimes. Sandine, the Hotel Manager, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Sandine arranged for a driver to pick us up at the train station the night we arrived and to take us to the train station on the day we left. The daily housekeeping was excellent, including clean towels. The hotel is very reasonably priced, perhaps because it is located in an...

I would recommend Chateau de Mazan to everyone! The rooms were spotless and very large for European rooms, the beds were so comfortable, the interiors were carefully curated, and the staff was lovely. The restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast was a substantial spread! Mazan itself is a sleepy town, but the chateau is the destination. The pool is not heated, so come during warmer months if you plan to use it!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was awaiting a letter to arrive that had to be signed for and they were great about it. They said they were happy to help me and they successfully received and signed for the letter. They were nice whenever we needed anything, like pool towels or umbrellas. The room was very comfortable. We loved having air conditioning and the little patio outside the room was lovely. We spent some time enjoying the pool and also the spa.
