"Property is beautiful, and felt like home. Owner was very responsive to last minute issues. Very close to the bus stop. Once you are in the COMO area, be ready to walk. The UBER, Taxi are not reliable at all and the bus service is very poor during the day, but runs free service at night after 7/730 pm, which is pretty regular and nice. Will stay here again on my next visit as well, may be will bring less luggage... lol."

"This place is one the best ones in which we have ever stayed: very spacious and comfortable, with lots of useful equipment (especially for children) and a great kitchen. The view on the mountains is wonderful, the village is very quiet and nice, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful, welcoming us with delicious cheese and local products. On our next trip in North Italy, we will arrange to come back to this amazing place !"

"Wonderful apartment, very cute and quiet village. Very clean, comfortable, safe. Communication excellent. I recommend you have a rental car. I didn't and it is a 15-min/ 1km hike up from the very reliable and inexpensive ferry and train. It took me (not young and used to the US suburbs) a day to get acclimatized to this - it is an alpine village. The town of Lierna and this apartment are perfectly suited to day hikers. "

"We loved this lovely apartment. It was very clean with all the amenities. The views were breathtaking! There was a heat wave while we were there and the air conditioning was such a welcomed relief. Carla our host was easy to reach and very helpful. We had a car and were able to park on premises. It is a hike down to Varenna and if you drive the road is very narrow with many sharp turns but so worth it !"

"Pros: Nous avons été très bien accueillis dans la propriété, qui jouit d'une vue magnifique. L'appartement est neuf, très propre et bien entretenu. Les logeurs nous ont donné de très bons conseils au niveau des endroits où aller en pleine canicule, des restaurants et des lieux à voir. Lorsqu'il fait très chaud, il est vraiment agréable d'être un peu en altitude par rapport au lac de Côme. Nous sommes ainsi allés en montagne, à plus de 1700m d'altitude, c'était parfait! La proximité des forêts...

10/10 Excellent

"Great location near Bellagio but far enough away to avoid the crowds. We enjoyed the pool and pool bar as well as the well furnit gym. The hotel staff were very helpful, always available and extremely accommodating in helping us plan our time in Lake Como. We ate lunch and dinner at the property and both experiences were excellent, the staff service level was too notch and the food and ingredients for both lunch and dinner were outstanding. Monica in guest services was very helpful in making recommendations on dinners and shopping in town and every single person at the hotel was focused on creating a great experience. I would highly recommend."

"We stayed here for four nights —-booked two rooms for our family. Some of the highlights include: 1) great, fantastic location which is short walking distance to ferry, shops and restaurants. 2) we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and beautiful swimming pool every day. 3) super comfortable beds and well air conditioned rooms. 4) staffs at the breakfast, pool and concierge are super attentive, warm and helpful. The concierge booked a private boat tour for us and provided useful advices on day trips and ferry schedules. The only and the biggest low light was that the casual restaurant (La Goletta) was super disappointing. The food was boring, plain, and poorly prepared . The restaurant waiters were cold and stern. Given the price, the restaurant felt way below our expectation. Recommend to stay at the hotel but eat elsewhere."

"A short but absolutely lovely stay at Filario. Romantic, comfortable, luxurious. You won't want to leave the property for any reason if you're here for only a couple of days. It was at Filario that I was finally able to relax and truly start enjoying my vacation. Pool views and the restaurant were sublime. The gift bag will remind me if Como long after the trip is over. Worth every penny."
