"We had a good visit. Beds were comfortable enough. If I were to go back to La Fortuna, I would probably stay closer to the town. It was about a 30 min drive of country roads. The house was as pictured - but the first floor is only accessible from stairs that are outside- not sure why…but it meant we really didn’t use the first floor except for one dinner. Esp when we had pouring rain. We had to kill a few big water bugs / cockroaches. "

"This home is a perfect retreat when you need rest. The outdoor spaces are perfect to watch birds, hear monkeys, experience the vegetation and enjoy fresh lemons and coconuts! We only left to attend a wedding otherwise we simply enjoyed the home and the rain forest. "
