Ancient house dating back to 1400, ground floor, exposed beams. Located in the heart of the Venetian residential district, full of restaurants and services, it is 2 minutes on foot and 15 minutes on foot from S. Marco square from the Biennale art exhibition.
the bathroom is accessible from both the bedroom and the living room, creating perfect privacy in the case of two couples of guests.
After 7pm, serf check-in is available at no additional cost
This neighborhood (called: sestriere Castello) is the only neighborhood left as a residence for Venetians. Here you can find everything you need and you can feel like real Venetians. The proximity to Piazza S. Marco is strategic as is the proximity to the LIDO for the cinema exhibition.
The BIENNALE exhibition is a few steps away. The waterbus stops are 5 minutes away: GIARDINI, GIARDINI-BIENNALE, S. PIETRO. Connections to the Lido beaches are frequent and you can reach the seaside area in 5 minutes by vaporetto

We stayed 6 nights (our 3rd visit to Venice) The apartment was perfect for us, with a vaporetto pass it was easy to pop between Lido and St Marco. Easy communication with our hosts- they were super hlpful too!

beautiful house, well furnished and with perfectly organized spaces, I really appreciated the details and the kitchen equipped with everything you need. the neighborhood is beautiful with shops and restaurants of all kinds, away from the tourist flow but very close to the main attractions that Venice offers. public transport is close. the Host was very attentive and communicative , present at every request but discreet

My wife and I have visited Venice more than 50 times and for the last 25 have stayed in apartments in the Castello district just off Via Garibaldi. This was the first time we have used Ca Marcello in Corte Marcello and, if it is available, will certainly use it again. The single bedroom apartment is cosy , comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well equipped . We felt at home the moment we walked through the door, and it was a real home from home. The kitchen area has a hob and a microwave and though it does not have a conventional oven we were able to cook our meals with ease. The bedroom has a large and comfortable bed and the wardrobe and chest of drawers provided more than enough room to store our clothes and other possessions. The apartment also has a safe to securely keep our passports, credit cards and surplus money until needed. The bathroom is small but adequate and though there is no bathtub it has an excellent shower. There is television and free WiFi . The apartment is ideally placed within easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions, very close to two vaporetto stops, but in an area where real Venetians still live. Via Garibaldi has a good range of shops including a supermarket, an interesting church, a school and a wide selection of restaurants and bars. Via Garibaldi is a lively place especially in the afternoons when children can be seen playing and families out for a stroll, and in the evenings when many enjoy socialising. We loved the apartment.

The apartment is in a wonderful location with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes nearby. A bit of a walk from the touristy sites and spots, but it is nice to stay in a more quiet part of town. Frederico was wonderful - he sent very detailed instructions on how to find the apartment and enter, and gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat at. We stayed for 3 nights and it was the perfect amount of time to spend in Venice.
