Everything was perfect. Comfortable, great location, all necessary supplies and cookware available, secure, tranquil area and short bus ride to Venice. We only saw the host once at check-in, which was all that was needed. Perfect base location for exploring other parts of Italy. Much better to stay here in Mestre, than to stay in Venice. We saw how tourists struggled with their luggage in going to and from hotels in Venice. It did not look like fun. It confirmed that we made the right choice to rent in Mestre.
