If the house was clean when we arrived, we would return. Perfect location, close to surrounding beaches, the pool and outdoor area was beautiful and well kept, the host also allowed us to check in early that morning instead of waiting until 4pm. Unfortunately we spent a good 3 hours cleaning the property when we first got there. The house smelled dirty and of a smokers home. There were dead roaches all over the floors and inside the cabinets. Old trash inside of the kitchen trash can. Dried pee on the toilet seats. The sinks and mirrors in the bathrooms were not washed/wiped. We had to wash all linenes and bathroom rugs. We ended up buying a brand new small coffee maker (which we left there for the next person who rents) the one inside the cabinets smelled awful. We bought all disposable kitchen wear and what we used of the house, we had to wash first. We stayed from Sunday to the following Sunday and made the best of it. I hope they get someone who actually cleans the house bc this is the only reason we won’t be back.
