Typical venitian flat at San Francesco della Vigna

Corte della Pietà is a cosy brand-new one-bedroom apartment on the 1st floor of a 16th cent. building located next to the San Francesco della Vigna church with its Palladian façade, in a corner of Venice which has kept so far its Venetian character.
It is an ideal place to visit Venice, with Saint-Mark Square, the Rialto and the Biennale Gardens 10 minutes away walking, while protected from the main tourist flow.

The guests are alone in the apartment which is exclusively for them. It includes a living-room with a kitchen corner and a separate bedroom , aside from a bathroom with a shower.

The apartment is located in the heart of Castello district, considered the most genuinely Venetian.
You can visit in the immediate surrounding of the apartment the Palladian monastery-church of San Francesco della Vigna, the San Giovanni e Paolo basilica, the antique Arsenal and the confraternity houses (Scuole) of San Marco and San Giorgio degli Schiavoni.
Saint-Mark Square, the Rialto and the Biennale Gardens are about 10 minutes walking from the apartment.

There are many retail shops nearby, where you can shop food and drinks.

The closest vaporetto station to the apartment is "Ospedale", which very convenient to go back and forth from the airport thru using the Alilaguna Blue Line shuttle, or to the Santa Lucia train station with vaporetti lines 41, 42, 51 and 52. Likewise, you can get a vaporetto to the Lido or to Murano every 12 minutes either at Ospedale or at Celestia vaporetti stations.
You need to walk about 10 minutes to go to Fondamente Nove vaporetti station to catch a boat to visit the lagoon islands (Torcello, Burano, Sant'Erasmo, ecc.).
It also takes about 10 minutes to walk to Piazza San Marco and to the Rialto Bridge.

"Although we knew in adva...

"Although we knew in advance that the apartment was located on 2 floors, with the master bedroom being tucked into the attic on the 5th reached by a "ship type" ladder, this ladder was still very difficult to negotiate. The futon beds in the living room were very hard and the quality of the pillows was poor. The previous renter's linens were drying in the living room when we arrived, we put them away 2 days later. Pierre knew that the coffee maker only worked sometimes, but seemed unwilling to replace it when we brought it to his attention. We were forced to go to the local cafe for coffee. Useful maps of store locations and hours was lacking. Overall this wasn't a bad apartment considering that Venice is a seller's market. it was quiet and well located. If Pierre makes some improvements to this apartment, it may suit you."

Appartement tout confort à deux pas des fondamente nove et di campo San Giovanni e Paolo. Pierre connaît très bien l'histoire de Venise, les anecdotes et aussi les adresses locales. Une excellente adresse.

Schöne Dachgeschosswohnung

Die Wohnung ist so, wie beschrieben, gemütlich, gut ausgestattete Küche, hell und sehr gut gelegen, aber ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, uns hat es allerdings nicht gestört. In ca. 10 min ist man am Markusplatz, in wenigen Min am Fondamente Nove, dem Fähranleger, von dem man super überall mit den Vaporettos hinfahren kann. Der Vermieter Pierre ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, er hat sich sogar Zeit genommen, uns an einem Abend zu kleinen venezianischen Köstlichkeiten eingeladen.

Das Apartment liegt sehr zentral an einer Vaporetto Haltestelle. Man kommt von dort aus überall hin. Das Apartment selbst ist etwas schmuddelig. Die Bettwäsche hat Flecken, die Dusche ist sehr eng und auch schmutzig. Die Duschstange ist defekt. Wir haben uns in dem Apartment nicht sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war zu jeder Zeit sehr gut. Mein Fazit: Vielleicht eher was für junge Leute ohne Ansprüche.

Excellent apartment at a very good location

The best part is location, just 5 minutes walk to Rialto bridge, water bus station and 7 minutes walk to St Marks square. Murano is only 15 minutes from water bus station. The owner is an excellent person and very flexible. He made our stay memorable. We have absolutely no issue for the 2 nights we stayed. The house is equipped with everything with good qantity .The only problem is the apartment is at 4th floor and no lift. I always dreamed of staying in such kind of house. Thanks for making our stay a memorable one.

Piso agradable, buena relación calidad precio

Se trata de un apartamento bien ubicado, alejado del centro plagado de turistas pero cerca para poder ir caminando en poco tiempo. La parada de vaporetto del aeropuerto y también hacia Murano están muy cerca. En cuanto al apartamento está bien para dos personas, el saloncito y la cocina-comedor son muy agradables y muy soleados. El baño algo más viejo y lo peor la escalera para subir a la habitación que está en la buhardilla que es algo peligrosa. La habitación muy mona toda forrada de madera. La persiana estaba algo rota y el colchón lo suficientemente cómodo cómo para caer rendido al llegar agotado.

L'appartement est bien situé, dans une zone calme et centrale pour découvrir les différents quartiers de la ville et accéder aux arrêts du vaporetto...Le propriétaire, absent à notre arrivée, s'est organisé pour nous faire accueillir à l'heure demandée et a été prévenant et disponible pour tous les renseignements d'avant le voyage... Agréable et spacieux, l'appartement gagnerait vraiment à être équipé d'un nouveau matelas (fendu avec ressorts et mousse visibles !!) et de nouveaux ustensiles de cuisson (une seule casserole et des poêles dont le téflon est bien rayé).....dommage mais cela ne nous a pas fait regretter notre choix !

Bel appartement avec proprio sympa!

Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour à Venise. Appartement très chaleureux très bien situé près de tout! Cuisine bien équipé, très propre, belle chambre et lit super confortable. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Pierre le propriétaire qui nous a fait découvert des coins de Venise que nous n'aurions pas vu autrement. Noys t retournerions sans hésiter lors d'un prochain séjour.

HACE FALTA RENOVAR

Pierre es una persona encantadora que te aclara tus dudas y te ayuda a encontrar los mejores lugares de Venecia, el apartamento se encuentra situado muy cerca del vaporeto y de los lugares de interés, resulta difícil su localización si llegas desde la plaza de San Marcos y eso que me oriento bastante bien, pero Venecia esta para perderse, mas en la zona del apartamento donde no llegan las masas de los paquetes vacacionales; el apartamento es espacioso, en ultima planta, la decoración es agradable, pero si no hace alguna renovación NO ES CONFORTABLE, como se indica ya que realmente solo pueden estar 2 adultos, lo otro no son camas si no como claramente indican colchones futon, realmente muy incómodos, nosotros viajamos con niños y lo aceptaron, pero hay no pueden dormir adultos, ademas la cama principal nos la encontramos con el somier roto y esto que junto colchón muy blando fue muy difícil dormir, como indican otros la habitación esta en un altillo de difícil acceso, pero muy encantador. La cocina es bonita y amplia, pero los juegos de platos y vasos son restos y no hay dos vasos iguales, se tiene muchos utensilios caseros para la cocina, puede que demasiados. Hay lavadora y lavavajillas. Al servicio le sobran muebles y sobre todo cambiar la mampara de la ducha. Como indico si la propiedad hace unos pequeños cambios para ser mas confortable es un apartamento interesante, ahora no puede llegar a agotar al visitante sobre todo si no puedes dormir.

Tres bien placé dans Venise, tout près de la sation de vaporetto Fondamente Noeve,d''où on peut accéder à toutes les destinations (ville, aéroport,îles...), et il se situe tout près de l''''eglise San Giovanni.Pour visiter Venise, l''appartement est à proximité de tous les principaux sites, et c''est un vrai plaisir de parcourir à pied les rues de cette merveilleuse ville. "The owners of this prope...

"The owners of this property are friendly and caring. They respond to emails promptly and communication regarding meeting time/place was excellent. The apartment is on the 3rd floor. It is clean and a good size for 2 or 3 people. I found the convenience of the washing machine and dishwasher excellent. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. We were staying in August so the downstairs air conditioner was great but the cool air didnt really reach the upstairs area. I found the ladder style stairs awkward. Unfortunately the kids did not like the pullout futon beds and the apartment is in desperate need of some new pillows. The location of this apartment is excellent as it is close to the Vaporetto and only a short walk to Rialto. Its safe and quiet. Overall its a really good place to stay."

"Nous avons bien apprécié cet appartement, qui est spacieux, lumineux et agréable à vivre. Il est bien situé, un peu à l'écart des zones très touristiques, ce qui à notre avis est un avantage car c'est très calme. La literie de la chambre du haut est parfaite, en revanche nos enfants ont eu du mal à s'adapter au futon du salon et disaient dormir sur les lattes… Peut-être est-ce une question d'habitude!? Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à Venise et recommandons sans hésiter cet appartement. "

"Appartement propre, spacieux. Au dernier etage avec une jolie vue sur les toits de Venise. Appartement calme situé dans un quartier tres typique, un peu moins touristique et tres agreable lorsque l''on a envie de se promener tranquille dans les rues sans trop de monde mais qui se situe tout de même qu'' à 5-10min à pied du Rialto. Tres bien placé dans Venise. Les stations de bus pour aller visiter les différentes iles et aller à l''aéroport sont à 3 min à pied de l''appartement. Proche de l''eglise San Giovanie, place tres agreable. Je recommande cet appartement sans hésiter. Pour finir le proprietaire est tres gentil, attentionné et tres disponible si l''on souhaite des informations, des conseils sur Venise. De plus il est francais d''origine donc trés pratique lorsqu''on est francais... forcement cela nous a rendu les choses beaucoup plus facile. On a passé un super sejour de 4 jours plein ce qui nous a permi de decouvrir la ville en long en large et travers en prenant son temps."

Quartier calme (pas de bruit la nuit), et bien situé pour rayonner dans tous les quartiers de Venise; pas loin de la Fondamenta Nuova, où on peut prendre le bateau pour Murano, Burano, San Michele, etc. Tout près de l''église de SS Giovanni e Paolo et de l''ancienne Scuola Grande di S Marco (actuellement l''hôpital de Venise – très utile pour retrouver l''appartement, car l''hôpital est indiqué partout). Propriétaire très gentil et serviable; il est aussi féru d''histoire, dont celle de Venise – une véritable mine d''informations utiles et intéressantes! ————————————————————————————————————————————————— The flat is sunny and bright, well equipped, clean and comfortable. It''s in a very quiet part of Cannaregio (no noise at night), near the church of SS Giovanni e Paolo and the former Scuola Grande di S Marco (now the hospital – useful for finding your way back, since the hospital is signposted everywhere), well situated for visiting all parts of Venice and near the Fondamenta Nuova, where you can take the boat to Murano, Burano, S Michele, etc. The owner is very kind, warm and helpful, and keenly interested in history, including that of Venice – a mine of interesting and useful information! "Die Ferienwohnung liegt ...

"Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr günstig im Stadtteil Cannaregio in der Nähe vom Krankenhaus. Zu Fondamente Nove, von wo aus die Schiffe auf die Inseln fahren, sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Gehzeit zum Markusplatz ca. 15-20 Minuten. Ein Bäcker liegt ebenfalls um die Ecke. Die Wohnung liegt im 4. Stock und ist äußerst ruhig. Sie ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, mit allem, was man braucht. Schöne, große Küche mit Gasherd (4 Kochstellen), Spül- und Waschmaschine, großer Kühlschrank. Die Wohnung erstreckt sich auf 2 Ebenen. In der unteren Ebene befindet sich das Bad sowie der Wohn-, Schlaf- und Essbereich. Hier können 4 Personen übernachten (1 Doppelsofa und zwei Sessel zum Umklappen). Über eine relativ steile und schmale Treppe gelangt man in das Schlafzimmer. Hier befindet sich ein französisches Doppelbett. Toller Blick von hier aus über die Dächer von Venedig (bei klarem Wetter Blick bis zu den Alpen). Der Vermieter ist äußerst charmant, sehr hilfsbereit und steht einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!"
