The apartment is close to Fondamenta Nove, a magic point from where you can  admire Murano island and the Laguna. 



It preserves its classic old style architecture, with a large modern kitchen and table, an armchair to be used as a bed and one bathroom.

The interesting thing is the attic where you can find a sofa bed, library and TV, to relax after a long day around the city.

If you love shopping you can go to Fondaco Dei Tedeschi or Strada Nova. The Fondaco is also well known for its panoramic terrace, where you can admire the Grand Canal of Venice from the top.

Around Sestiere Canareggio you  will find the gothic Palazzo Ca’ D’Oro and near Fondamenta Nove, the marvelous Gesuiti church.



This Sestiere is full of restaurants, cafes and “cichetterie” where you can taste the typical venetian food and aperitif and enjoy the nightlife.



From here you are walking distance to San Mark Square and Palazzo Ducale (20 minutes) and Scala Contarini del Bovolo (15 minutes). If you want to reach other parts of the city you can take the vaporetto (a public boat transportation) from Fondamenta Nove stop or Rialto bridge stop.
