Hôtel La Villa Nice Victor Hugo

"A generally well kept boutique hotel that does the basics well. Room was spacious and clean. We were happy with the location as it was only about a 10 minute walk to the beach promenade and close to transportation and restaurants while still feeling like we were away from tourist crowd. Air con works very well while breakfast was ok but overpriced. You don't really have much to do with staff. Would stay here again."

"Beautiful five star hotel across the street from the beach and the gorgeous Negresco. Wish it was closer to the other end of the strip, but I think this is probably the swankier side of town. Low end rates put us on the first floor next to the AC units, but honestly it was a fine trade off to be in such luxurious digs for the low price we paid. Would stay here again."

"Central location, big modern hotel. A staff member explicitly told us the pool closed at 1030 and when I brought my kid to swim we were told quite rudely that the pool closed at 6. The rooftop becomes a bar and restaurant after 6 and that is open until 1030. Just miscommunications but not handled with warmth or apologetically. Meanwhile, the sea was too rough to swim in (so it was not a substitute for the pool at that moment) and the rude staff in fact denied that the red flag meant that the lifeguards deemed it unsafe to swim. It was so bizarre and I felt like the focus of this hotel was not guests but perhaps the bar clientele? Sad because I wanted to love it."

"Excellent déjeuner avec de la variété Le personnel est courtois et gentil Par contre la chambre au deuxième étage plus sombre mais belle et propre Il faut demander un balcon mais je voulais 2 lits pour ma fille et moi et il n’y avait plus de balcon à la réservation Je recommande cet hôtel avec une super localisation près de la plage et de la vieille ville"
