St Lawrence Manor is a beautiful house in a lovely quiet location with access to both the countryside and the beach. Several bedrooms have views of the sea. The house was well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The owner was friendly over email and very helpful. The whole process couldn’t have been easier. I recommend this house for large parties. We had a great holiday experience.
Our group had a fabulous stay. This house has everything a big group needs to have a memorable stay on the Isle of Wight. We loved the tennis courts, proximity to the trails near the water, and a giant kitchen to service us all. The bedrooms are all spacious and there are plenty of rooms to accommodate everyone. We especially loved the game room! The owners are fantastic and were there for us and anything we might need. Thanks for a great stay!
St Lawrence Manor was the perfect place for our large group of 14 adults and 8 children. The place is massive and the grounds were excellent. We all had enough space to gather as a group, but could have our own space too. The games room with bar was the highlight and we loved the tennis court too. Some of the rooms/bathrooms could do with a refresh, but that didn’t effect our stay at all. The large kitchen and dining area was great and perfect for large meals together. We all had an excellent time.

Stayed here with 16 members of the family, aged 10 months to over 70. Games room was perfect, very well stocked kitchen , bedrooms were good, in general the property needs a hug, tired in places. The beaches are accessible by only the sure footed, and we’re not suitable to sit on as there was evidence of rock falls.having said that the coastal walks were perfect
Really good experience renting the property, any questions were answered promptly and check in details and process was straight forward. Manor was lovely and location was perfect for what we wanted. We had a group of 15 and everybody enjoyed the stay, we were there for a weekend
Planned a bit stay here with 23 guests and it was just PERFECT. The place is spectacular, incredible views and perfect for a big group. The host is super helpful and friendly and always messaged back too. 10/10!
Catered perfectly to our needs which was a casual wedding weekend for our family and closest friends. Had everything we required and more which made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable.
The property owner was absolutely fantastic in helping us with questions and recommendations. Definitely recommend

Perfect venue for a large group of people.
The property has an amazing coastal location with stunning views across to the sea. It is very large, extremely well appointed and equipped. We had a 4 generation family gathering there and wanted for nothing. The beds are very comfortable, plenty of hot water and power showers. There is plenty of space including a large games room so all ages were very well catered for. This is an amazing party house to be highly recommended.

What a fun weekend, thank you!
The property was excellent -- even bigger inside than it looked from the pictures!! It really was so fun having an 11 bedroom manor house to ourselves for the weekend.
We were a bit unlucky with the weather -- rain and freezing cold etc. so I'm so glad I convinced the others to book somewhere nice! We spent most of our time either in the hot tub or getting hot and over-competitive in the games room over table tennis! I love that games room... I wish we had room for a table tennis table and a bar in my flat!!
One thing I would say is that the photos don't do the place justice... they're nice, don't get me wrong -- we were all very excited beforehand based on what we'd seen but we were all even more impressed when we actually got inside the house! Maybe use a wide angle lens to take some new photos for advertising? Anyway, that's a minor point.
St. Lawrence is such a peaceful area. I'm used to chaos all around me where I'm from and it was good for the soul to get away from that for the weekend. I'd absolutely recommend this property to friends and relatives alike.
Thanks again
I stayed at the manor with a group of 20 other friends, last weekend and I would thoroughly recommend St Lawrence Manor to anyone.
Stephen (who manages the property) has been communicative from the start, providing comprehensive information about the house, being quick to answer questions and solve problems and generally attentive to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Just before we went, a couple of concerning reviews were posted (ref: Tanya and Ellen), which I highlighted to Stephen. We had a conversation about what happened with this trip and their comments were the opposite of what I had experienced with Stephen, so I was confident that these reviews were not an accurate reflection of the manor.
The place is is massive - it took us at least 10 minutes to just to explore the labyrinth of rooms. What makes this place special is the large dining room, sitting room and patio space that means that the full capacity of guests (26, I believe) can socialise in the same room. When you want to splinter off, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained - table tennis, pool, tennis, swimming, hot tub. It's also super close to the beach. The house is kitted out with all the crockery and cooking utensils you need - we made a vat of pasta for 26 with ease in the huge, catering-sized pots- and there are enough fridge freezers and dishwashers for the house too.
The bedrooms are comfortable - most have an ensuite and those in the front of the house have a great view over the sea, including a few with balconies too.
This is the ideal place for a large family or group of friends. Don't have any hesitation in booking!
St Lawrence Manor - Ideal for the Lawrence family!
Our Lawrence family, made up of 23 people (including 6 children) have just spent the August Bank Holiday weekend at St Lawrence Manor. Everyone, from the oldest to the youngest loved it.
Its 11 bedrooms (all with ensuite) spacious lounges and dining areas, large kitchen (well equipped) splash pool, tennis court & games room provided more than enough for all the family. Its location, near Ventnor, was also perfect enabling us to get around the south of the island easily.
The Seascape view, from the Manor, was idyllic and the walks down to the beach were both interesting and good exercise!
The local shop, in St Lawrence village, was only a short walk away and provided sufficient produce and other commodities to keep us going over the 4 days.
We took the Wight Ferry from Lymington to Yarmouth. The drive from Yarmouth to the Manor House, along the Old Military Road, was spectacular!
Most of the family had never been to the IOW so were pleasantly surprised how lovely it is.
We’ll be back!
Really lovely property, excellent communication from Stephen the host. Stephen was really helpful with help and advice with regards to ferry crossings and the local area. At the earliest opportunity contacted me to let me know that the hot tub was out of use, however recommended a company that we were able to rent one from for the week. This was then set up and ready for our arrival, and we were reimbursed for this. The children and adults thoroughly enjoyed the facilities in the house and grounds, especially the pool and tennis court. We all had a great stay and would book to stay here again. Thank you!
What a perfect home for a large family gathering. Plenty to do for all ages. Great communication from Stephen regarding our stay. We would definitely stay again!
A brilliant stay with my friends and family for the weekend - Stephen the host was very accommodating with all of my questions and queries.
The property itself is great, had everything you could ask for that accommodates larger parties. Tennis court was a big plus!
Would definitely recommend :)
Perfect place for enjoying quality time with a big group of loved ones
We loved our stay at the manor - it's wonderfully comfortable. It has loads of indoors space, the couches and beds are super comfy, the table is big enough to accommodate 25 people at once. The location is amazing, we loved the surroundings.
Unfortunately we discovered one day before our trip that were not gonna be able to enjoy the hot tub due to unforeseen circumstances. The owner sent us a compensation as a goodwill gesture, which we appreciated.
Communication with the host was easy and made the whole process way more pleasant than I would have expected for such a large booking. We're really grateful we got to spend our yearly retreat in such a lovely place.
The property owner was always contactable and extremely helpful prior to check-in and during our stay.
The house was perfect for our group (3 families) because it was massive. It is not a luxury property but has all the amenities you need and a very big professional kitchen. This allowed us to get caterers in to cook for us (also organised by the owner). Our kids loved the tennis court and the pool and hot tub.
It is in a beautiful location with lots of lovely walks and beaches nearby as well as Ventnor.
The Manor House was marvellous so large ,comfortable with everything one could possibly want on holiday. We loved the games room and the swimming pool, and hot tub. Thank you
