Just one block from the beach, and a short distance from scenic destinations like Ojai and Channel Islands National Park, this Ventura gem is the ideal basecamp for surfers, foodies, and nature lovers.

LIVING AREA

The open living and dining area offers a great flow for entertaining. Two plush sofas and an armchair invite you to unwind while dinner simmers.

Enjoy a movie night in the bonus room, complete with a 32in TV and seating for five. An upstairs loft offers a cozy spot for an afternoon read.

KITCHEN & DINING

Craft delicious home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen, fully stocked with all the cookware and gadgets you might need.

The dining table seats four, while the breakfast bar provides additional seating for two.

This inviting rental sleeps four guests in two bedrooms.

Comfort awaits in the welcoming master bedroom, furnished with a king bed. The adjacent guest bedroom is outfitted with two twin beds.

Complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and driveway parking for two cars are provided; additional street parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Paid parking is available in the State Beach Park across the street.

Although the rental is not equipped with air-conditioning, it is rarely needed with Ventura's mild summer weather.

This rental is the perfect spot to enjoy relaxation and rejuvenation. However, because it is part of a duplex, it is unsuitable for loud after-hours socializing. Please be aware that a 10pm noise curfew is strictly enforced.

The City of Venture requires a minimum stay of seven nights for all vacation rentals during the period beginning on the second Friday in June and ending with the last Friday in August.

Lovely Buenaventura State Beach is 200 yards from your front door. The 1,600' Ventura Pier is 1.1 miles away, while nice waves can be found at Surfers' Point (a 1.6-mile drive).

Head downtown -- just 2 miles away -- for a bite at Ventura's hottest restaurants, or visit unique shops and art galleries in Ojai (a 16-mile drive).

Explore the natural grandeur of Channel Islands National Park, with boats leaving year-round from Ventura Harbor (2.5 miles away).

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Great Family Getaway
This little house fit the needs for my family of 4 perfectly! Check-in was easy, super clean, kitchen well-appointed, beds comfy, and the kids loved the loft. It's small, but we didn't ever feel like we were on top of each other. Steps to the beach, and the shuttle to the fair if you stay during that time! Highly recommend!

Great home for R&R between dive days 👍👍 Outdoor patio with hose off area. Hot tub to soak the sore muscles away. Quiet neighborhood to sleep well at night. A black from a beautiful & clean beach… walking distance (half mile) to In N Out… thank you for a great R&R space 💙

Very nice with the 400+ acrers San BenuVentura State Park outside the front door.
My last report was rejected because your response Read:Inappropriate words used.?Let’s try again! We have a well behaved golden male doddle 14 months old. This home allows dogs. Our last stay of 5 nights using VRBO at Eagles Nets in Avalon we received a 5 start rating from the owners . Upon arrival your Ventura beach house wen discovered 3 areas outside 1.Front gate entry 2.Front yard. 3.Back yard. Someone did not pick up after their dog . Not happy!

This is a very nice property. Close to the beach—easy walk—convenient to shopping and eating areas. The washing machine gasket needed cleaning. Otherwise, the place was spotless. The dryer is quite noisy. This was a great place for my husband and teenage son and I to meet my son who lives in LA. The hot tub was great, the kitchen is nice, the bed was comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

This is a great place to stay in a wonderful location. Maybe a block to the beach & a gorgeous view.
I had great weather for January. The place is nicely appointed & kitchen well stocked. The only down side was the expectation to not wear shoes in the house was unexpected & a little unreasonable.

Perfect place for our small family.
Travel with an infant is hard, and this place was perfect for us. The beach was close enough for morning walks, the hot tub was ideal for the adults to relax in while our little one slept, and Ventura is situated such that we could head to Ojai and Santa Barbara with ease. Great place, would absolutely stay here again if heading to the area.

Pleasant home close to the beach
Was in Ventura for a meeting, but didn't want to stay at the conference hotel. This property was ideal for our needs--quiet, yet close (2 short blocks) to the beach, well-appointed and clean on our arrival. Plenty of space for two people, would be comfortable for a family with two kids.

Living a beautiful life
This is a very cozy cottage. It was convenient not only to beaches but bike and walk paths. The jacuzzi was absolutely amazing. The kitchen was well stocked as far as pots and pans with cooking staples. It is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I walked on the beach every morning and I took simple short walks down to seaward avenue.

Great beach house
Had a great week at this house with my family and two sons. The beach is a block away and the bike path begins practically outside the front door. The house was spotless-- no complaints. The photos are accurate. I read the other reviews.: we had no problems with the wifi, and the hot tub is new, clean, and fantastic. There is definitely a microwave in the kitchen. the kitchen is well stocked for basic meal preparation. The extra tv room and loft was welcome additional space with teens. I was unsure about booking with an agency (Turnkey) instead of directly with an owner, but the process was smooth and they were very responsive when I had questions. I would definitely rent this property again.

Lovely home for small family.
The home was clean, orderly and easy to check-in/enter. Parking was perfect. Home is perfect for small family for small/medium sized bedrooms and single bath. The 2 living spaces have ample room to enjoy. Furniture is mostly updated although wobbly legs of couch in TV/Lounge will not last long . Double bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the one of kind art and vintage accents. Hot tub was great. Did a clean cycle in the middle of week long stay. It became the main focus of the R n R as the weather the 2nd week of May was frigid and not possible to swim or frolic in the sand at the beach. Plan your trip accordingly. Quiet neighborhood is across from moderately busy CA State park beach and provided open scenery for front facing views (seasonal volume may effect noise etc). Sides and back of house of less private, stacked right up to the neighbors on the back and side. Kitchen was clean and ready to use (management could specify organization for cleaning crew so things are easier to find but everything needed for any meals were found). Management was very responsive to needs - a few burnt out light bulbs and a broken washer. Pretty easy walk to local small restaurants and Ventura pier. Short drive and easy access to everything else. Overall, if the weather is friendlier, it's a great place to stay!

It was almost okay. Out of property’s control, a roof was being replaced next door the whole time we were there. Within their control was the lack of internet access on the morning we left. I was unable to attend an important work call.

Great short term rental
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again. Can’t beat the location and the property is in great shape and very clean. If I have any suggestions it would be to repair the jets in your jacuzzi. I did read that others had the same issue and it is still not repaired but we enjoyed it all the same.
