"I love this property- let me start with that! The rustic feel, the amazing bathtub and the sound of wooden floors! I have stayed here before. But this time the price was nearly double. And I take responsibility for not paying attention to the price breakdown. I expected a cleaning fee and taxes, but did not expect the fees to be double the nightly room fees. For those fees, I would have expected the room to not have dust on the ceiling fans, dirty floors, walls, etc… they should take that...

"The property was not clean. There were open food packages in the cupboards, mold in one of the showers, garbage behind the couch, a used coffee cup left in 1 of the bedrooms and the whole place was very dusty. Some of the kitchen cabinets were broke and one was missing a door. There were people living in the basement with a small child. The smell of the food they cooked was terrible and the crying child woke us up multiple times. This was our first time renting a VRBO and the whole experience...

"We liked this location and will try to stay here again if it is available for our next Yankton trip. The location is excellent and walkable, which is very handy when traveling with a pet. For the sake of family and group travelers, it would be helpful if there were a dining table instead of a desk, more glassware, and a large shower curtain to make the bathroom more private, but even without these additions, I expect to be back. "
