"Had a great birthday with friends and family at La ferme. Mark offered us use of the function room for my birthday night, and the facilities were superb.
Everyone had a great time., and the weather was also on our side so we were able to also make use of the BBQ and the pool facilities the next day.
Mark was very generous ensuring we had everything we needed to make it a very special occasion.
Certainly a birthday to remember.
Hope to be back for the 40th !!

Visited Tarascon-sur-Ariege and surrounding area. Food at the hotel's restaurant (Bellevue) was delicious and service was prompt. Also enjoyed the local wines. All staff were very helpful even though their English and our French needed a bit of help (thanks to Lovely Planet translation books). Pricing for accommodation was appropriate. This is a very nice chamber de notes and is the reason I choose to stay in this style of accommodation. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the house was very comfortable. The area is wonderful for bicycling and I would recommend it for a bicyclist. You won’t be disappointed

Beautiful, peaceful property in the countryside, only a few minutes from Foix. The proprietress is lovely, and the food is very good. Note the wifi is spotty and a bit slow, but manageable, and there is no air conditioning. Despite these issues, we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing stay at Le Clos Cathala.

Well located, nice big room, modern bathroom, has a bar which is pleasant. Hotel is very quiet and has lots of parking. Breakfast has lots of variety and is very tasty. I would stay here again.

Excellent location and excellent, engaging hosts ... felt like friends. Daily temp 96, but studio was reasonably cool and cooled down nicely at night. A very unique, quaint property. Only challenge was finding it since in non-driveable medieval Square. Would definitely stay there again.

Nous avons passé un excellent moment en compagnie de Lola et de Claude . En leur compagnie nous avons fait une visite très intéressante et très instructive de l'histoire du château et de la région. Notre chambre et la salle de bain étaient très spacieuses et confortables et avaient pour théme Sarah Bernhardt. Au matin une jolie promenade dans le parc très appréciée par notre chienne. Excellent petit déjeuner. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
