  • Magnificent property with large garden, Villa Lardarina is located 200 meters from the town center in a quiet area.
    The property is located near the staircase leading from the railway station to the town of Corniglia.
    You will enjoy a magnificent panorama of the Cinque Terre sea with the nearby town of manarola in front of you.
    With two bedrooms and a lounge with sofa bed Villa Lardarina can accommodate up to 6 people; the large kitchen guarantees all traditional comforts.
    Bathroom with shower and furnished terrace with sea view.
    The house surrounded by the garden offers a relaxing holiday. The Villa offers free Wi Fi and air conditioning.
    for those arriving by car the car park i found 100m from the house is public and costs 10 euros per day.
    another opportunity is to leave the car at the La Spezia station under which there is a large car park and then to reach the town of Corniglia by train in about 15 minutes by train to reach Corniglia and it is the most comfortable and fast to visit the 5 lands.
    The rate does not include city taxs which is € 1 per day per person, to be paid at the check-in, get cash thanks

Best view and best of the 5 towns, as far as we were concerned. We thoroughly enjoyed the patio for morning coffee and evening wine. Nice to receive a bottle of wine and personal instructions upon arrival. Good choice!!!

Great house

It is well worth the walk up or down the stairs to get there. Large, well appointed with a fantastic deck and beautiful views. Highly recommend.

A Fantastic View

It was very roomy , comfy bed along with a great view !! The patio was used for breakfast and drinks after long days ! We would stay here again. The host was very helpful with places to get groceries!

Gem overlooking the Ligurian Sea!

Perfect Spot

The hosts were so welcoming and got back to us quickly with any questions. The house is perfect- lots of space, clean, and amazing views. We could not have made a better choice.

The views are everything!

Exactly as described. Comfortable with superb air conditioning. The walk up the stairs/ramps with luggage was manageable, there are options to take bus to top of stairs and walk down instead. Garden and patios are where we spent all our time -stunning!

Best Place to Stay in Corniglia!

What a fabulous location! From your terrace you have an outstanding view of the Ligurian Sea and the next village of Manarola. The moon reflecting on the sea was just so peaceful. You are a 10 minute walk to the train station and a 10 minute walk (up) to the village. We visited all of the villages while we were there and Corniglia clearly had the least commercial/touristy atmosphere while still having nice places to eat and shop. The VRBO had a great location but also a secluded feel to it, tucked into the hillside. We were greeted upon our arrival and were shown around the house. Our stay was comfortable and so relaxing.

Leider muss ich eine schlechte Bewertung abgeben, obwohl die Gastgeber sehr nett waren. Erstmal ist die Beschreibung falsch: es gibt keinen Whirlpool. Auch die Bilder führen in die Irre, so sah es vielleicht vor 10 Jahren aus, aber mittlerweile ist alles sehr heruntergekommen, das Haus ist sanierungsbedürftig, die Inneneinrichtung schrottig. Aus dem Wasserhahn im Badezimmer kommt nur heißes Wasser, das wurde schon von einem Nutzer vor 2 Jahren auf booking beanstandet! Der Laminatboden ist kaputt, auch im Außenbereich ist vieles dringend reparaturbedürftig. Am schlimmsten ist: es wurde nur teilweise gereinigt und das auch nicht gründlich, es lagen Haare im Badezimmer, in der Küche ist alles etwas schmierig, insgesamt staubig und schmutzig. Mein Tipp an die Vermieter: weniger Deko, dann ist es auch leichter sauber zu halten. Der Geruch war nicht auszuhalten, überall waren Duftfläschchen verteilt mit aufdringlichem, künstlichen Duft. Allein der Ausblick und die Lage insgesamt sind wunderschön. Auch der Garten ist schön, nur leider liegt da viel Schrott, schlimm ist vor allem ein Plastikrasen, der sich langsam auflöst und in den Boden dringt. Ganz schön war der Pelletsofen, der einfach zu bedienen ist und bei kalten Tagen wohlige Wärme erzeugt, nur schade, dass er im Flur steht und nicht in der Küche oder Wohnzimmer. Was man wissen sollte: vom Bahnhof aus muss man sein Gepäck 176 Stufen hochschleppen; und die Züge sind auch sehr laut. Das sollte man zumindest vorher wissen.

The view, the privacy, the comfort were all top notch! Yes, you will have to walk up 132 stair steps to get to the Villa, but it's well worth the climb! You can also take a bus from the train station to Corniglia's Center, but the walk down is longer than the walk up, and it was a nice bit of exercise after the train ride. The villa sits on a hillside, practically by itself, surrounded by a vineyard, fruit trees, and oh, did I mention the view? It was simply a fantastic place to make a base for exploring the Cinque Terre. Corniglia is a beautiful town, with great restaurants, gelato, and friendly locals. If you are at all considering this property, treat yourself, and just do it!

Host met us at the property. Views are incredible with plenty of space inside and out. 10 minute walk to the train to see the C5. Wish we could of stayed longer!

Wonderful view with very nice outdoor space. I get in Chianti little bit of a walk up and down steps to get to the house but not objectionable very nice place would recommend

Gorgeous views!

We loved the peaceful mornings when we had the view to Manarola all to ourselves! The house is an amazing retreat, spacious and relaxing. Was so glad we had such a wonderful place to just chill and enjoy Cinque Terre.

Great location

Location was fantastic. It's about half way up the steps with the entry gate to the property on the trail. The house sits back off the trail so it's still quiet and secluded. The property is spacious and comfortable. Out host met us with some wine and home grown lemons. The views from the balcony are fantastic. This place is a great location to have as your base as you enjoy Cinque Terre. Will definately stay here again

Beautiful stay in Corniglia

We stayed here for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. We had a warm welcome by the host and given recommendations. The house was very welcoming and the patio view is stunning!!! Hope to return one day

Excellent location and view from patio

We really enjoyed this property with great views and easy access to the train. It is situated one third of the way up the stairs from the station to Cornigula. A reasonable walk up the hill to Margareta's store for fresh food supplies. The kitchen was well supplied and there was lots of space for us and two adult children. Thanks to Christian who made it easy for all of us to stay there. We would highly recommend it.

Amazing view, comfortable stay, convenient location

We stayed four days and could not be happier! The location was perfect and we are so glad we stayed in Corniglia. From the train station you can take the pedestrian path and it is about halfway up the steps. Other option is to take the bus and have the driver let you off at the pharmacy. We did that option as we did have a small carry on each and there are a ton of stairs. The very nice owner let us drop our bags while the house was being cleaned as we arrived early in the morning. She then came and found us in Corniglia when we could check in. The view is amazing! Wide open, gorgeous and quiet and private despite people going up and down the stairs all day. The train tracks are below but are not an issue when sitting outside or sleeping. You can hear the train while outside but for us, we didn’t find it to be a big deal (and certainly not a distraction) and I only heard it a little from inside on a rare occasion. The home has everything you need from a large fridge and freezer, comfy bed, blow dryer and iron. I loved the foot path to and from the gate as there was a lemon tree and lots of great flowers, cactus and trees. We had several great meals in town to include the best hamburger ever at Bar Nunzia and amazing food at La Laterena. I also highly recommend the wine bar as they have delicious tapas! We loved sipping wine out on the patio. The owner has gotten different outdoor patio furniture than what is shown in the photos and it was very comfortable and a great place to relax. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Base for Everything

What a wonderful view, quiet nights, great restaurants nearby, easy acess to the trail to the next village. Trains and bus are busy so be patient, this is a great part of the world, slow down an enjoy the Mediterranean.
