good hotel to save money

I stayed 2 different weekends for softball tournaments. The first time had small black ants in the sink and occasionally on the beds. 2nd time no bugs in room at all. hotel is not top of the line but is great if looking to save money.

April was so rude. When I checked out and got to my car I noticed I didn’t have my car keys. I went back to the front office and asked April can I go back to the room and get my car keys. SHE LITERALLY SAID NO. I was very confused almost like she was joking but I knew she wasn’t because she has an attitude and uses her facial expressions to get under your skin. I asked a second time… APRIL SAID NO LEAVE. I Left sat on the trunk of vehicle for almost an hour until room service went in the room and I asked her to grab them. Besides the people around there being homeless sleeping by the dumpster and asking you to buy drugs and walking around ALL NIGHT I did find a roach ONLY ONE But still unacceptable. I’ve never been treated or experienced such an experience before. That lady is mentally ill and needs to learn customer service adequate.

I’ve stayed at this site a number of times over the years. I know its not and don’t expect it to be a 5 star experience. I know its an old property. But this visit was really different than all the others. The room stank of something undefinable. There were stains on the walls that seemed as though they were ‘dripping’. The floor had a burn from an iron and there wasn’t an iron supplied with the room. The mattress was extremely uneven. This room was right next to a room that from the hall sounded like an A/c equipment room, but from our room it sounded like a jet powered lawn mower. And to top it off at 6am on a Saturday i woke to the screams of a woman being being in the rooms below. Once a classic and nostalgic property has fallen into disgrace. Its a shame.

Very small room, but the bed was comfortable. The room head a noisy damaged sliding glass door that's needed me to rig something up so it wasn't unsleepable. Homeless people we're running along the streets outside. On a busy road with tons of dining nearby, and only 5 to 10 minutes from the ocean was the same in

Breakfast is only a granola bar, orange juice and coffee. There are some unsavory characters that may be hanging out around this hotel. The people in the room next to me were noisy, awake and talking loudly outside at midnight, 2am, 4am…etc. The mattress needs to be replaced, it’s horrible. It sags so much on the sides that you can’t even sit on it.

it was clean and quiet and right next door to walgreens and lots of dining within walking distance. the free breakfast could not be called breakfast,,,,,,,,,Honey buns and hostess coffee cake wrapped in cellaphane.

This is not a hotel.this is just a motel with a slight upgrade.the owner(s) need to do some renovations...the inside need to be more modern and the pool need to be taken care of.the furniture and shower head is outdated.
