Not a clean or functioning hotel

We snagged this hotel for one night while visiting relatives and it was a mistake. First off, the photos are run through some kind of filter and are far from accurate. The room was dirty, we had a stain on the bed sheets, mold in the shower, the TV didn’t work and a fuse must’ve blown because no outlets on one side of the room worked (phone, lamps, alarm clock). Hotel and parking lot reeked of pot too. Location near I-95 was about the only plus.

Property is old, could use a face lift. Decor in room dated and in disarray. But found room to be very clean and comfortable. Persons with disabilities need to request lower level rooms, as there is no elevator, just outside stairs. But would stay again.

Empty lots behind the hotel gave it a sketchy feel although nothing occurred Went to breakfast at 8:30 and there was little left. They did not replenish. No yohgurt, no fruit, no eggs, no waffles, no pastries except packaged muffins. Only bread and cereal

The place was ok. I found myself having to kill roaches while starting there. That kind of freaked me out. But the price wasn’t expensive so I guess you get what you pay for. It’s also used for locals weekly stays (housing). So maybe they were coming from the neighbors room. Don’t be too excited for the breakfast

Memories of staying at a HJ many years ago hasn't changed much. Dirty carpet and bathroom walls. Needs upgrading of the bathroom and new flooring.
