"It’s a good base for Caen if you don’t have a car. Close to the train station, close to city center (walking distance or taking the tram). Shower is amazing water pressure, kitchen is super clean and has a small fridge, microwave and stove (didn’t use). Nice sealed window so it’s quiet inside the room. The AC could use some work perhaps - it’s not super cold, maybe just a maintenance issue. "

"This was a great cheap place to stay. The beds were comfortable, pillows were good. And the place was clean. Only dislike was the amount of people smoking in the halls and too.s and right outside our window! As non smokers this is really unpleasant. But in Europe it seems smoking is pretty common still."

"The hotel offers parking in the back of the building, which is a real plus. It's walking distance to shopping district, cafes and more. It offers a great base for discovering Normandy beach history. Friendly staff, clean rooms, pleasant enough. "

"We knew that reception closed at 21.00 and we would not arrive before 23.00 so we followed the instructions to contact the hotel. Firstly the hotel never replied through the messaging service so I telephoned and despite language difficulties was given a code for the machine outside the hotel to issue a door key. On arrival the machine was not working the tel number was not answered. Horrible, we were tired and cold with no way to get into a room. Another tel number was displayed on the machine and eventually we were let in and given a key. Overall a horrible experience so stressful believing that we might have to look for a hotel so late when we were so tired. Never again"
