"The house was unbelievably clean. It was decorated very tastefully. It was not cluttered with the owner's belongings. The location was perfect; the beach was right across the street. "We had a lovely few days at this seaside house - it was spacious, filled with light and very well appointed. It was very clean and the garden was a great size. Even though the weather wasn’t great during our stay, the kids still used the heated pool every day come rain or shine! There were nice shops and restaurants within a short walk of the property as well as the beautiful beach. The host was easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had very quickly."

"Ein unkomplizierter Empfang, eine überlegte Einrichtung, ein eigener Parkplatz sowie die direkte Nähe zum Strand haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Lüftung des Hauses war in der Nacht im elterlichen Schlafzimmer mit einem monotonen, leisen Brummen dauerhaft zu hören und konnte laut Vermieter leider nicht abgeschaltet / leiser gemacht werden."

"We had a lovely holiday at the house. The caretaker unfortunately only spoke French, but somehow we managed to communicate. Not sure we always understood each other but this did not lead to any issues, fortunately. If you are looking for a well set up house near the beach with a promenade, then look no further. We have as a result stayed here once before."

"If you want to stay at a cute house in a great location then this is home is perfect. It was been updated throughout and had everything you could want to cook a meal. It was comfortable and cozy with plenty of room for my family of 5. Walking distance to the beach and conveniently located across the road from the market. "Rural Normandy at its best. Fabulous house with indoor swimming pool. Plenty of parking and great facilities. Close to Coutances. A good place to base yourself for cycling trips and tours of Normandy. Excellent concierge service and lovely house for chilling out. All flat so would suit wheelchair user."

"Anne-Marie met us at the house and showed us round. All the beds were made up (extra charge) plus she provided bread, cheese and cider for our lunch! So kind! It soon became evident that the photos in VRBO are out of date. There is an extension to the ground floor bedroom with a walk-in shower, loo, his and hers basins and wardrobe and drawer space, which I enjoyed greatly! Also there's a second fridge and a 4 drawer freezer in an outhouse, which was very useful as our daughter and family stayed...

"This is a fantastic property, in a great location, for visiting the D-Day memorials and museums and the rest of this part of Normandy. A short stroll and you are on Utah beach. "Hotel rooms were comfortable, the window shutters are great. The restaurant serves a regional menu, including regional beers. The breakfast was the standard bread, pastries, cereal, fruits and cheese. The location was easy to find, and a great spot to stay if planning on visiting the town. The town is close enough to walk if you want alternative options for food."
