Hotel de La Ville

"Fabulous suite but the hotel gives a ‘seen better days’ vibe. Whether it was considered shoulder season in September I dont know. ( seems odd in todays climate when June/July are unliveable) but the hotel facilities seemed to be truncated. Breakfast offer was poor and would advise a room only rate."

"The room was clean and furniture was very modern and new. Friendly hotel staff. Breakfast buffet was ok, served from 7am-10am. Free and fast wifi. Only down side was there is no water for guests. You can't even refill your reusable water bottle at the breakfast buffet. There is a sign warning guests that you cannot fill bottles at the buffet. They do sell bottled water in a vending for cheap price of 1€/1Euro, but the water isn't cold enough. You'll need to put in the fridge in your room overnight for cold water. Overall, our stay was good. We choose this hotel because it is very close to the train station and close the cruise ship shuttle #1 bus stop location."

"Although it was hard to find and a trek to get to the hotel, if you are wanting a beautiful castle room, you must stay here! It was worth it! Pack light! The walk to the hotel is steep and there is no elevator in the hotel. The hotel restaurant is wonderful and convenient."
