Peace and quiet at last

Only 15 minutes from Geneva city center by direct bus, we rent this charming room with a beautiful view. The house is surrounded by a large and beautiful garden with two terraces, ideal for reading and relaxing.

The house belongs to my parents who recently stopped living there. Since then, I have been living here alone and supporting my mother who is in a retirement home.

Your room is on the first floor. If the room opposite is not rented, the bathroom is for your sole use. Otherwise, you will share it with another Airbnb traveler. On the first floor are the living room and kitchen. There you will find a coffee machine with free coffee and tea. However, I do not otherwise share the kitchen with the guests.

As shown in the photos, your room is equipped, among other things, with a bed with a comfortable, semi-firm mattress. Wi-Fi, bed linen as well as towels and bath towels are at your disposal. From the room you will enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding nature, our garden and the mountains in the distance.PGJyPg
Only about 100 meters from the house, you will discover unspoilt nature: fields, forests and wild ponds where you can walk, relax or jog - as I do regularly. For the more sporty, I recommend a hike to Mont Salève, whose summit offers a breathtaking view of the Geneva basin and Mont Blanc. The start of the hiking trail is about 2 kilometers from our house.

The atmosphere here is quiet and soothing, surrounded by nature. A great place to enjoy the moment, away from the daily stress. If that's what you're looking for, this place is perfect for you. After 9 p.m., I ask my tenants to refrain from slamming doors, streaming without headphones and making phone calls to ensure a peaceful atmosphere for everyone. This house rule ensures that you can relax or concentrate during your stay. I look forward to spontaneously exchanging with you during your visit.

If you arrive by car, a parking space is available on our property. If you arrive by public transportation, the bus stop "Veyrier, Les Quibières" is only 80 meters away. Bus line 8 takes you directly and without change to the downtown (15 minutes), to the main Cornavin train station (25 minutes), to all international organisations such as the UN, UNHCR, WTO, WIPO, WHO, ILO, IFRC etc. (about 35 minutes) and Palexpo (in 45 minutes). Our bus stop is also served by bus line 41, either to Thônex, Chêne-Bougeries and Chêne-Bourg station (in 15 minutes) or to Carouge (in 30 minutes).

A strong point of my offer: I will be happy to get you a free public transportation ticket for the whole of Geneva and for the duration of your stay, offered by Genève-Tourisme. Don't hesitate to ask me!
