"We had a great stay here. The host, I can’t remember his name, was helpful and kind. It was a beautiful and very quiet spot. The stone buildings and decor made it feel like a medieval village."

"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat.
We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"This chamber d’hotes is situated on a plateau above Sarlat, and has magnificent 360 degree views. The owners and hosts are very helpful and provide a lovely continental breakfast to start the day."

"Plutôt déçu de ce séjour et voici pourquoi :
Points forts : la quiétude du lieu, le paysage, le côté typique des gîtes, la localisation géographique pour les visites
Points négatifs : chemin d’accès très étroit et rempli de trous, compliqué de retrouver sa chambre dans les différents gîtes présents dans le hameau car pas d’indications (il suffirait d’avoir un petit plan au niveau des parkings!), organisation médiocre (nom de la chambre pas reçu, idem pour le code de la boîte à clef). "Sabine and Phillipe are wonderful, kind hosts. They have lived in the area a long time and are thus very knowledgeable and can answer any touristic questions you have. The property is beautiful and peaceful. It’s an easy walk into Sarlat from their place"

"The staff was very helpful and friendly and the hotel was very clean.. There was plenty of free parking and the hotel is well located within an approximate 20 minute walk downtown."
"What a lovely hotel to stay for a few days and explore the local area. Our room was very clean and comfortable with aircon and a minibar. The pool area was stunning and a perfect place to cool down in the recent heatwave. Christine was so welcoming and suggested different places to visit whilst we were there. Yes it’s up a hill but really not too bad to walk back up from the town if you take it steady. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarlat."
"This is beautiful and quirky hotel in an old part of the town centre of Souillac. Owners appeared to be welcoming and charismatic. Lady owner communicates in English if struggling to speak in French.
Rooms presented to be very nice and clean, while beds very comfortable. Bathroom appeared to be clean but would benefit from a little renovation. There is shower in the bathtub but no rail to attach it, which was a little bit inconvenient.
There is cafe and dinning room downstairs, which seems to attract a lot of locals. Breakfast is served in the dinning room, though I would personally rather have something to eat elsewhere. Hygiene standards in the dinning room are not what I am used to, and are somehow low."
"What a beautiful place to stay, in the most gorgeous little town. One of the highlights of our three week European roadtrip. Lovely room, central location, helpful info from managers. All in all a little gem!"
"Make sure you paste the actual address in your Sat nav (don’t follow the links to maps as we ended up 25 away). After that everything here was just superb. This couple have a real eye for detail and standards; it was the best quality value of our road trip through France."
