"Lovely house, extremely well equipped and clean. Fantastic pool and hot tub. Andy and Uliana were very helpful but not intrusive. We ate at two restaurants in Meyrals which were very good, also Sunday lunch at Aberge Medieval in Audrix, about a 15 minute drive away, was outstanding. Highlight of the week for food was Dimitri cooking for us, it was delicious, plentiful and no more expensive than eating out. We can highly recommend Les Hirondelles!"

"A clean and tidy house which was well appointed and comfortable; mind you it was such dry and hot weather we spent most of the time outdoors. The road to the house is VERY narrow.... driving a 1966 MGB this wasn't too difficult but I wouldn't like to do it in a Range Rover!! Guillaume was very helpful both in the run up to our arriving and if we had any queries when we were there. Belves is a lovely town with good shops and plenty to see and can all be done on foot. One cautionary note for UK...

"The house is well proportioned, bright, airy and light. The pool is amazing, super clean and a very good size. The pool is set in an amazing garden. So the view from the balcony above is amazing, with the further view over the hills and forests below the property. Throughly enjoyed our stay and both at the house and Sarlat and the surrounding area."

The home is exceptionally well furnished with very elegant features… many big windows, great outside lounging areas, swimming pool, and a well equipped kitchen. Nicole is a gracious host and readily available for any questions."

"A lovely property in our favourite part of France. Everything was just as listed on the website. Lots of homely touches added, fresh flowers, wine and biscuits. Close by to Beynac, La Rocque, Sarlat & Domme. We loved it. Only downside is the amount of electricity that the sauna uses. We used it once and it just tipped us over our electricity allowance!!"

"The house is very well positioned for local amenities. The local village is beautiful with a great shop and a couple of lovely restaurants. The only negative were the mosquitoes so remember some insect repellent!"

"We arrived at this location and met with the owner and did not unpack or stay there. We have raised a claim (beware that this is booked through a separate agency Herez who once you have paid take very little interest or care. We took pictures and sent to Vrbo and Agency Herez of brown stained pillows, old bed blankets, broken and filthy shower and the whole place is old and tired. Nothing like the pictures on the website. We have tried to claim for a refund and Vrbo just passed us over to the...

"Een prachtige plek in de natuur, waar je heerlijk tot rust kan komen en naar de sterren kunt kijken. Het huis was netjes en goed uitgerust. Het zwembad en de talrijke schaduwplekjes waren heel fijn tijdens de hittegolf. Prettig was ook dat er voldoende zonnestoelen waren voor iedereen om relaxed boekjes in te kunnen lezen. Het dorp met basisvoorzieningen is dichtbij. Prettig was ook de welkome ontvangst en goede zorgen van de vader van de eigenaar. Zeker een aanrader!"

"We’ve just spent a lovely week at this house. Had everything we needed for our family of 2 adults and 2 children age 9 and 10. The location is perfect. House and garden are very private not overlooked with beautiful views. Nearest 2 villages with bakeries, shops and restaurants are 5 and 8 minute drives away. La roque-gageac is just 15 minutes drive away where we spent a great day hiring kayaks on the river. There’s lots to do in the area."

"We booked this property as a girl holiday getaway for my 40th birthday celebrations. Overall we had a nice stay and found the location great to be able to visit some really stunning towns and villages nearby including Dome, Rocamadour and also had the opportunity to do cannoing in the Dordogne river as it’s such a great spot for it. In terms of the house itself, it had the main things we wanted but I wish the outside area by the pool would have had more greenery or at least a bit of grass....

"Nous avons loué ce gite pour entrerrer la vie de jeune Garçon de notre Ami. Nous étions une petite vingtaine venue pour profiter et nous amuser. Nous avonc choisis un weekend de pont, pour pouvoir liéer l'EVG et profiter sur nos temps libre de la Dordogne. Grace à la météo nous avons passé le principal de notre temps à profiter de l'exterieur entre la piscine, le terrain de boule, et la grande surface de terrain en herbe. En sortant du gite, nous avons tout à proximité, Epicerie, boucherie,...

"We stayed in early September when the kids had gone back to school. Fantastic weather and the property was a good size with everything we needed. Local attractions were equally fantastic. I especially liked that there were so many wild fig and plum trees around. The host was very accommodating. The pool was cleaned each morning giving us space to enjoy it all afternoon when the sun was at it's best. We'll be staying again one day."

"This is a good property in the heart of the historic district of Sarlat. We had great support from Valentin and Clois when we were there. The room was in the attic with a small kitchenette, which we used for breakfast 2 of the days that we were there. We needed a property with a garage and booked one with them. What we did not realize that this was a several minute walk from the property itself. There also was no convenient place to bring up the car to unload luggage since there was a fair going...

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
